Lucky lottery lady outed as Stanford University statistics PhD
Oh you cannot tell me she doesn't have this figured out.I look forward to hearing of more of these 'adventures'.I mean, a STATISTICS *PROFESSOR* living in LAS VEGAS after hitting FOUR times on the TX lottery? Something tells me this Lady Luck is comfortably stalking a roulette wheel, happily raking in small jackpots on keno, and/or effortlessly 'Breaking Vegas' at several Blackjack tables on a regular basis. And if she is ruling the craps table somewhere, I sure hope I am at the same one while th

$220 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot ramps up
It has been over a year since anyone in Ohio claimed part of a PB jackpot, it's about time and I'm hoping it's me. It has also been over a years since anyone claimed the local jackpot of Classic Lotto which is at $40M+, if I can't win PB, then I would be happy to win it instead. Good luck everyone, $200M+ jackpots is as good as it gets.

New Words-to-Lottery-Numbers feature!
If such information existed, it would be worth millions of dollars as there are several 6/49 games in the US with large jackpots. Ohio Classic Lotto with a $40.0M jackpot is one that comes to mind.

Mass. Lottery game very profitable for those who know how and when to play
Maybe now that this quirk has drawn national attention, Massachusetts will reconsider its value as states like Ohio, Indiana and Illinois and others have pick6 games where the jackpots have gone over a year without a winner and rolled to over $40M which attracted even more players. Sounds like this quirk only attracts small groups of extra players, many from out of state who only play because they are guaranteed to win more than they contribute to the state. And if their winnings are in amounts

Post your scratch ticket results
My $40 was the same way.. I love multiple wins, but I always fear the small amounts. I know the major jackpots are on solo #'s, so it is nice to see multiples or even symbols, but you know they won't give you the grand prize.

OH Classic Lotto.
The Ohio Classic Lotto continues to roll. Today's jackpot is at $39.6M so I'm guessing if anyone wins it, it will be a matter of luck rather than brain-storming. With PowerBall and MegaMillions gaining back their top jackpots positions, it's time to starting playing them again instead. Good luck to anyone still trying to win.

Powerball tickets will be raised to 2 dollars next year
States like Ohio added MegaMillions to get players interested in playing the local games but since they too cost a dollar, they completed with those games. When PowerBall start selling for $2 the local Classic Lotto (6/49) with a jackpots of $10M to $40M for $1 will probably attract more players along with MegaMillions until they also raise the price of their tickets.

The biggest mistake people make is:
My data was only meant to show there were PB drawings where all the numbers were below 32 that had a single or no winners more often than multiple winners. It covered a period from 01/03/09 to the present which included 266 drawings. Someone else compiling data for all 266 PB drawings and the 34 jackpots won during that period might conclude PB drawings with all numbers less than 32 are more likely to be won maybe because more players play such combinations (I have no idea), but that wasn't what

Anyone out there playing strictly high #'s on their tickets?
I have thought about doing that very thing. Usually though, if I do something like that, I will start with teens or maybe 20's for the first number because it is pretty rare for the first number to be a 30, and while any hit is nice, I'm really playing for jackpots.
