We have been giving both RI MA scratch'ers as Christmas gifts for years. Funny thing is that several relatives just refuse to scratch their tickets as they prefer it being a Schr dinger's cat type of situation and would rather live in the mystery of maybe . Personally I think there must be some kind of medication for this attitude.

Funny thing is, I usually don't ever check my tickets for weeks. I would have long forgotten when and where I purchased that winning ticket. I do however usually sign the back of them as soon as I buy them.
