Ohio lottery player wins $207M Mega Millions jackpot
Congrats to the lucky winners in Piqua! For 12 in the pool and if they take the cash option it'll be a little under $7 mill apiece after taxes!

[Mega Millions] - Use this with your system
Seems like ABC is a safe bet, it doesnt stay out very long. I use your system with a pool of numbers that have hit 4-8 times in the last fifty draws and have had a bit of success. Im torn about the MB though I guess Im going to have to go with D.

Powerball matrix change
I'd like to see what comes of this. 18 million people live in Florida. Of course, only a fraction of that population plays the lottery. In yet, 50 million extra combinations added to the pool; 20 million more than Mega Millions. I think we'll see Powerball reclaim the jackpot record.

Office lottery pool
Can of worms, at best, unless a legal agreement is in effect. Check the old news stories of what happens when the pool hits and someone says, I told them I wanted in but I don't remember if I paid or not. By the time the lawyers sort it out and get their share there are a lot of bitter feelings.....

Florida Gets Powerball,Does Arkansas Choose Mega Millions?
What's the new matrix change for the PowerBall? it already has a bunch of numbers too select from (55) plus the red ball from a pool of 42 are they trying too keep players from winning?

It's getting hard to stay enthusiastic...
It's getting hard to stay enthusiastic after playing in a pool for over a year and a half without getting anything more than a 3 or 4 outa 6 win! I used to be so much more enthusiastic about playing, but now it seems like it is just becoming a routine-not getting excited about it very much any more! Know what I mean?

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
That many long skips coming out in the same draw is certainly unusual.
I've been limiting max skip in my number pool to 14, but am about to change that to a per-number calculation of average skip plus 0.7 * standard deviation, which gives me an overall average still equal to 14 (range 12-19 typically). This is for a 5/45 game. For a 5/55 game, that 14 should be nearer 15 or 16.
My skip limit of 14 historically passes 83% of numbers.
I'm also working on Stew's concept of Followers, as a

Need a Pick5 Sums System: Anyone ?
If your using sums, you should try looking at the decades too. Meaning if it falls between 70-80, 81-90, etc...If you can spot a trend of which decade its in, you can narrow down your pick a lot. Especially from a pool of 15+ numbers.
