Computer Draws ? Outliers or just broken software?
I play pick5 and jackpots game and usually stick with what happens 95% of the time in their drawings to develop statistics for generating combinations to play which also eliminates the effects of outliers on the data. I've found that every game even of the same types has its own unique sets of outliers which means there's no general set of rules that will fit any of them. So far I've stayed away from games with computer generated drawings.

Jackpots won on back to back days
These are the facts why both Mega Millions and California Super Lotto Plus won their jackpots on back to back days. They occur on Friday April 15, 2011 (Mega Millions): $72 million sold in New York and Saturday April 16, 2011 (California Super Lotto Plus): $11 million sold in Whittier, California

It would be fun if an uberball lottery was created.
The odds on MM and PB are high enough, thank you. And the jackpots, even starting over are plenty high enough also. I do think eventually we will see MM and PB merge into one game. And with that, a change in the matrix, odds, and jackpot amounts.

I suppose after having won several PB and MM jackpots of only $200M, you now find those games too easy to win and boring, you now want a real challenge with big money, no?

What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
40 miles isn't that much if you're playing for a $200M+ jackpot. Before BigGame(now MegaMillions) and PowerBall came to Ohio, if the jackpots were that large and the weather was nice I looked forward to a 90 mile plus drive up to Michigan or over to Indiana to buy tickets. I've heard that in some parts of Texas, students ride the buses to school farther than that every day.

Florida Jackpot Winners
Black Pearls sold really well around here. They could not keep them stocked fast enough. Its really odd because there are so many $5 games which sell so poorly they end them early with jackpots remaining. I got a $200 return on a roll yesterday but there might be more losers now ???

$319M lottery winners revealed
Before MegaMillions and PowerBall came to Ohio I used to travel to Indiana and Michigan to get tickets when their jackpots were large and stores along the boarder sold tickets that way only because they had lines of customers waiting to buy them. But since then, at least in Ohio, I haven't seen such lines so stores only punch up a ticket when a customer comes in and ask for one. They must still be getting those kinds of lines in New York.

Is your State A Lottery Happy States
I was wondering this, too. My first guess is that it's because WV's jackpot games are multi-state, and that they don't get a lot of Mega Millions and Powerball and Hot Lotto winners. If that's so, the state's main impact on the games is to grow the jackpots that are won in other states. Eventually, they'll have a winner and the large in-state payout may change the average. Depending on how they calculate that 15 cents, they may constantly run low because of the multi-state games producing more w
