To smd173You experiment can be done by one person. If you have the time, why don't you run a simulation and let the rest of us know how it comes out. You could put the list in an e-mail for anyone who wants to recheck your results or check it with a different drawing. Good luck to you. To smd173,With 200,000 picks and overall odds of 1:43 of getting a ticket worth $2 or more, you could expect to have over 4500 tickets worth $2 or more, which means you would get $10,000 for sure, but you might still be in the hole even if you hitted 5/5+0 for $175,000.RJOh

In checking my OHIO649P file,I also use yellow to high lite numbers that matched the bonus ball because 3 reds and one yellow does not pay the same as 4 reds. Also one has to take in considerations how clear the numbers will be in certain color combinations.RJOh

Thanks Hypersonig,I may have to try the samething the next time I play PowerBall - pick 42 lines that I know contains a $3 winner and only play 10 of the lines. I like the idea of playing from a group that has at least a basic winner in it. I still have 36 lines of play on PowerBall tonight since I played for 2 draws when I was in Indiana last Wednsday.Good luck to you.RJOh

If those players in Pennsylvania would buy more tickets per play, one of two things would happen, the jackpot would grow faster or someone would win it. Now that the PowerBall and the MegaMillions are starting over, players may stick their extra cash on the Super 6 and end it. We have a $25M jackpot in Ohio that someone should win pretty soon.RJOh

The best way to have a chance at beating (winning) the lottery is to buy a ticket. Some one always beat the lottery dventually or people would stop playing. It's no secret, the odds are ~1:many millions and when many millions of tickets are sold, someone wins. Good luck to all who buy a ticket because those who don't have a snowball chance.RJOh

picking a power ballReply
I like to pick the most popular powerballs that have not hit with any or no more than one of the numbers in the combinations. Right now since the file only has 78 draws, that fairly easy to do. I do the same with Megamillions.RJOh.
