Elderly $144M Powerball lottery winner shows right way to claim jackpot
Winner protects his identity, while D.C. protects its tax revenue
The winner of a $144 million Powerball jackpot has finally stepped forward, nearly three weeks after the lottery drawing, demonstrating one of the best ways for a lottery player to claim a big prize.
The 82-year-old from Washington D.C. had his lawyer claim the prize on Monday on behalf of a corporation set up to keep his identity secret.
The moves frustrates reporters in the media seeking to reveal his personal story, bu

Oklahoma Cash 5 / Pick 3 - Best Approach?
Hi all, I am new here. Found this site looking for a better way to beat Cash 5. Been playing the Cash 5 and Pick 3 for a long time because the odds are... well, attainable. I never really mess with multi-state games unless I feel very lucky or the jackpot gets really large as the odds are just too high IMHO.
Not having much luck though. For both Pick 3 and Cash 5, I have sets of numbers that I came up with that I play over and over again on multidraw tickets.

Site-wide improvements implemented last night and today
I hinted at it in an earlier post about an error message some people may have seen because of the upgraded text editor.
I have been working very hard to wrap up the improvements installed and de-glitched over the past day.
These are changes that have been in the works for months. It is not a simple task to keep a web site with this much traffic performing smoothly and quickly, which is why many of the improvements to the site are focused on performance and ability to handle more traffic. N

PatternsInChaos, the questions that you have raised are very intelligent are worth being answered.
However, at this early stage in the pick 4 game all of those choices may be a bit premature most importantly a bit overwhelming.
Personally right now my main focus is looking at the previous draws seeing exactly from where the #s are coming. Granted all of the draws are not going to come from the most recent draws, but from what I am seeing now that is the bulk of the game thus far.

Outlook for online gambling in U.S. discussed at conference
On the heels of a House Judiciary Committee hearing on a bill proposing an independent study on the feasibility of legalizing and regulating online gambling, former Senator Alfonse D'Amato, chairman of Poker Players Alliance, said he expects the legalization of online poker in the United States within 18 months.
The panelists in the State of the Industry: Internet Gambling at the Crossroads keynote session at Global Gaming Expo (G2E) said pending sanctions by the World Trade Organization due

At this point you most of you should have heard the simulated radioactive source sounds. This will help in understanding the next part of these postings. In order to present the final evidence, we need to transform the simulated radioactive source sounds into something more meaningful and relevant to the lottery drawings of the Cash 4 and Cash 3. The simulated radioactive sources each have an average time between ticks at some fairly reasonable time spans, 1 millisecond, 10 millisecond, 100 mill
