Which states have the most winners of any size Powerball or Megamillions?
Do you know www.powerball.com and www.megamillions.com? And when the jackpots make the top 25 list, Todd Northrop lists them in his home page. Like he did with this massive, record-breaking jackpot.
Bono fortuna to you!!

$800 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot approaches billion-dollar range
There is a sucker born every day. These big jackpots are doing exactly what they were designed to do: make the lottery money and make the states money for allowing this scam to happen. Why do you think all states allow both mega and powerball now? They were jealous other states were making millions so they had to get a piece of the action. Same as casinos being built everwhere. $2 a ticket for bigger pots? They can do whatever the want...bet you will pay them $3 a ticket in a few years...nobody

Will the opening comments be about this record jackpot to break the ice so to speak? It will either have been won or rolled. Exciting stuff.

$500 MILLION: Powerball jackpot explodes in ticket-buying frenzy
No winner tonight.
The jackpot for Saturday is a world record $675 million -- and surely much bigger than that by draw time!

$450 MILLION: Powerball sales bonanza sparks early jackpot increase
YES! I think it will rollover again and when it does it will easily surpass the previous record PB Jackpot of $590.5 Million won by Gloria C. MacKenzie out of Zephyrhills, FL back in 2013. What with the odds higher than they used to be (since the PB change on October 4, 2015) that translates into the lottery having to sell every permutation and combination possible to guarantee a winner. Thing is that since odds are now higher there can be a set or sets of numbers that simply never get sold and

Should Camelot Pay These "Jackpot Winners"?
GI
Devastated: The couple thought they would be seeing in the New Year as millionaires when they chose all six winning numbers using the Lotto mobile app but Camelot told them they had no record of the transaction

$400 MILLION: Powerball jackpot surges on rollover
Seeing how it now has a head start of 3 rollovers and is now picking up steam, is 1$ more than MM and now has worse odds maybe we will indeed get to see it post a new record, maybe even 850M-950M$, would be quite entertaining.
A single winner had better be from on of the anonymous states.

Keno players cash in on lottery glitch in Delaware
After all the Tipton stuff, any lottery using an RNG probably has it locked up in a vault and nobody could fix the broken record. Whatever happened with Hot Lotto still only effected very few players and considering there was only one winning ticket, it really only effected the next prize winner.
Keno RNGs are set on timers and the results are recorded by the RNG too so it depends on how often a human checks the drawings.

Awesome, thanks for posting this!
The goal of this site was always to maintain a historical record, so it's really great when it helps people research.
