I have heard several radio ads and seen a billboard for the Delaware Lottery advertising how if you win, we won't tell anyone . This is the first time I've seen this approach to marketing the lottery. It does make me wonder if they are missing the point that offering small prizes with lousy odds using a questionable drawing method sends players across the border.

Is it possible to remain anonymous in NJ through a trust or attorney?
You can NOT remain anonymous in New York or New Jersey. On the east coast, Delaware, New Hampshire (with the help of a trust), Maryland, and South Carolina are the states where you can remain anonymous.

Okla. lawmaker aims to stop lottery winners from staying anonymous

Then I read an article announcing that someone in NH won $85 million playing PB and they decided to remain anonymous and I apologized. I'd have to go all the way back and check my posts, but I am very sure I read in the paper that the lottery in NH announced they would honor the winne

Where is the $267m MegaMillion Winner(s)?
Considering that the winning ticket was sold in OHIO, I would imagine that the winner is looking for a lawyer to claim the prize in trust as a way to become anonymous. Ohio is one of the few states where you can be anonymous (Trust must be formed). If the winner is smart, that is what he/she will do.

Jackpot Winner Anonymity poll...
It's both tax free (just state taxes though) and anonymous in WA. But if the jackpot is a record than forget being anonymous, the media will chase after you irregardless.

Powerball lottery millionaire fields marriage, investment proposals
I think it's nearly impossible to stay anonymous and I think winning the lottery makes you an instant celeb. Sounds to me as if his desire to remain anonymous might be part of his gig to be a celeb. I think it sounds fishy to want privacy yet your talking about being on TV? Anyone with me?
