Lottery Director Professional Software The Ending
Hi Bob, I had never heard of the site, so I checked it out. WOW. Unfortunately, I have a 64 bit Microsoft Windows 7 home premium lap top and the site only uses a 32 bit on my system, so I can't install it. Bummer.

New Internet Browers: Which Are Best?
Yeah, check with Microsoft. Maybe they'll inform you of the incorrect 1/9th number you're providing. You go, FreeBSD user, you go!

FLA Lottery site down for me for a month now
Was it checked? I been working IT for 15 years now, so it is 2nd nature to help. Microsoft Security essentials(google it) is a good free antivirus. Malwarebytes(www.malwarebytes.org) is a good free spyware program. i reccomend paying the $25 one time fee to buy it though(runs real time along with an antivirus). I swear by both of them and they keep things nice and clean. If you reload an antivirus, you have to remove any previous anti viruses though. You can have multiple Spyware programs loaded

New Internet Browers: Which Are Best?
Since https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/147740 was accepted in the Lottery Discussion Forum in the past, I trust my current post is acceptable here now. I rarely use my Internet Explorer 8 Browser at LP because I find it to be quite sluggish compared to FireFox or Chrome. When I wish to access Microsoft Update or certain other Microsoft pages, I'm forced to use it. Given my experience, I find it strange that IE-8 is so popular among Members at LotteryPost.com. I did some informal tests up

False virus alerts for Avast users
I just received an email telling me I have a UPS package arriving in 7 days and the tracking can be seen in the attachment. Since I'm not aware of any packages being sent to me, I was hesitant to open it. The automatic scanner in Yahoo mail didn't find anything, so i tried opening the file, and Microsoft Essentials immediately popped up in the right hand corner of my screen and detected a virus, which was quickly deleted. I love this thing...lol?

False virus alerts for Avast users
Good advice Todd. I have microsoft security esseniials installed on my computer and it does a great job of keeping the pop ups away. I had gamevance embedded in my computer and it got rid of it norton didn't even come close to getting rid of it. The best part about it is it's free.

False virus alerts for Avast users
A Lottery Post member who had virus warnings today let me know that Avast (their virus protection) installed an update that the company admits is producing false positives on many Web sites. (Apparently including Lottery Post.) A false positive is when the software incorrectly identifies good code as a virus. They are putting out an update soon to correct the problem. In the meantime, if you use Avast on your computer, please ignore any warning messages you get on Lottery Post. Also,

Fixed text editor problem for IE6 and IE7
True that! Getting MSE upon Todd's suggestion awhile back when it first came out was some of the best advice I've ever gotten, small footprint and highly effective, THEY wrote the code it protects. Registry cleaners cause way more problemos than they are worth. I've seen em ruin machines. Microsoft also has enterprise server level virus malware etc. protection but it ain't free.

Fixed text editor problem for IE6 and IE7
Yes, Security Essentials would replace AVG. You would first uninstall AVG, and then go to the Microsoft site and install Security Essentials. It works GREAT win Win 7. And IE9 is highly recommended.

Fixed text editor problem for IE6 and IE7
So Microsoft Security Essentials can replace the AVG Free Anti Virus I use? I'm running Windows 7 on my home PC with AVG Virus Protection. Haven't upgraded to IE9 yet.
