Matrix change: Powerball to get much harder to win?
How is something optional effectively a price increase when you can still buy a ticket for $1? Getting more people to pay twice as much won't put one dime in the 2nd place prize pool if the reason they pay twice as much is to play for the power play prize.

Florida Lotto rolled once more
The odds never change. They are always 1 in 23 million. It's true that more people buy tickets when the jackpot is high, but it has no effect whatsoever on whether or not your numbers will be drawn. Still almost all Florida Lotto jackpots are won by a single ticket. (sometimes the winner is a pool, but it's still a single ticket) Good luck!

How to Use The Magic Square of Sun/Moon for the Pick 5...
One more thing. I did mention that the square you use is partially dependent on HOW you manipulate it for the Pick 5. You may want to analyze your state's particular Pick 5 number pool. It may be a factor in which square you choose and how you manipulate the square. All the Magic Squares may not be amendable to your Pick 5 game if each Square is manipulated in the same exact ways.

Setting up a trust to avoid gift tax?
Setting up a trust to avoid gift tax?
No. First of all, the correct word is reduce not avoid when you talk about paying taxes. Also, a beneficiary is someone who gets your money when you die. But since you asked about gift tax (not estate tax) mentioning life insurance and other estate planning vehicles isn't going to answer your question. No matter how old you are, all of us can get sick or die, so it's important to make sure that your loved ones are protected with either a will, a t

The Implications of Cracking the Code..
I don't believe there's a code that can predict the next numbers to be drawn during a random drawing but I do believe there may be patterns in past drawings that once identified could help one reduce the number pool and have all the winning numbers most of the time resulting in better odds of winning something. Many have tried to find such patterns, some even using AI software but I'm not aware of any one who has. I think the word code is being confused with the word patterns in this thread.

Powerball Sums
Sums are only part of the story, for example you could have eliminated the numbers of the previous 5 drawings and reduced your number pool of 55 by 17 to 24 numbers in the last 200 drawings and still had three or more of the winning numbers in 156 of those drawings and had all the winning numbers in 19 of those drawings. There are many other parameters that can reduce your playing field and still have all the numbers most of the time, I would settle for reducing that field down to 10 numbers a

Past 10 drawings having next drawings 5-6 numbers?(6/49)
The winning numbers were 23 29 30 31 32 so the experiment wasn't successful. The winning numbers did everything I try to avoid with my picks. Three of the numbers had hit the previous drawing, their total range was less than 15, all the numbers were in the top half of the number pool and etc. While I played all the winning numbers 2-4 times in the 21 lines only twice were two of them in the same line.
