Calif. gas station off the hook in lottery ticket probe
This Place dodged a Nuclear Bullet. *** l am willing to swear that this particular store will have a squeaky clean record moving forward as long as they have a lottery terminal on property.

And we're rolling...MM at 85m
So what happens if the jackpot hits record territory? You may never play again or a least for a long time under that type of system. AND it is at or past the draw number of the last jackpot win...

Being tempted to check my numbers regularly!
my play is 95% online now. its only occasionally i will go by a ticket at the store. and its the night of the draw i will log in and see if its a winning draw. and prob do my record keeping. update the spread sheet etc. but yeah sometimes I will forget and leave it a day, before i go look. it would harly matter, the wins wont be going anywhere. and its not like i can lose the ticket.

Bill would allow N.C. lottery winners to remain anonymous
I'm currently staying in Western NC and think this is a wonderful idea. In Florida almost everything is a public record. Maybe this will give me a reason to stay here!

For the record, I posted this. It's a wagging finger. The title of the emoticon is NO NO. Maybe try reading before you post next time? Especially before you post a threat? P.S. If you don't know how to use a computer, it's called hovering. You hover the cursor over the emoticon, and the name of the emoticon will pop right up.

Say goodbye to PB & MM soon!
If you reduce the number of tickets sold, which would be the effect of cutting those states out, jackpots would still tend to be won at about the same dollar value, but it would take longer to reach that value. For the record, at current sales levels, there's about a 6% chance that a low-valued MM jackpot will be won; for PB, it's about 7-8%. Cut California, New York, and Florida out of the games, and those values drop to 4-5%.

How are Mega/Powerball numbers generated regarding lotto games.
I am almost certain that the individual terminals generate the numbers. Why? Think about how many numbers are being generated everywhere at any given moment (but especially during record sales). The network would be incapable of receiving the request for a QP then sending back that number. If I'm not mistaken, the process goes 1) player requests QP, 2) machine generates QP and validates, 3) sends to network. Also, think about cases where multiple duplicates on same ticket...lottery has always di
