Megamillions picks...05/16/03
To cotti47,The matched figures were the matches I got when I compared the drawings in the file to each other. I checked the numbers I played to see if they matched the previous hits in a simular manner. Those figures change a little as the file get larger. I think I explained them in the lottery system section when explained my system. Good luck to you.RJOh

Proven Lottery System Seeks Investor
To GELOTTERY,Why not share your system in exchange for a portion of the profits that players would make using your system? Or may be you could post some numbers for a short period of time to prove your claims. I don't usually play the pick3/4 games because the lower odds means lower winnings and I figure if I'm going to take a chance on losing my money the likley payoffs have to be larger. Good luck to you and if your system really work, you will accumulate enough winnings in no time to affor

Mega Millions getting boring
Megamillions is structured to generate large jackpots and can not do that with better odds. States can change thier state lotteries to attract those players who are willing to play for smaller jackpots with better odds. Some players will alway play the games with the bigger jackpots even if they have to travel to another state regardless of the odds. Ohio has been disappointed with the Megamillions, but not with the odds but the sizes of the jackpots, so it not likely the odds are going to

Do lottery systems really work?
If someone likes the results of their QP's, they should continue to buy them. I prefer to play most or all the numbers that I can cover with a $10 bet, so I use a system to do that, I could not do that with the same amount of QP's. When I lose, all 5 or 6 numbers are on my bet slips just not in a winning order. I prefer that to saying that the computer gave me some lousy numbers and not one of the winning numbers was on my slips which I hear from QP player all the time.RJOh

lottscorp's Projections For Powerball!
When ever anyone post their predictions or picks in a public forum, their successes and failures are documented. Unlike professionals who sell software and systems, their information is free and opened to scrutiny. With odds of 1:14M and worst, a jackpot winner is not likely to be posted so it is unreal for anyone to expect a winning post, but that should not prdvent posters from sharing their ideas.RJOh

I'm surprised that...........
I'm surprised no one mentioned Jack Whittaker's website for those people looking for some easy money from a big lottery jackpot winner. From the stories at his website, he hasn't given out much yet, but he and his family are taking requests. I would bet that a book about the many requests could be a best seller. If you plan to give it to the needy, cash or annunity really only limit how fast you can get rid of it.RJOh

Powerball growing faster
While those figures might inditcate that Powerball returns $173 and Megamillions return $182 per $1000 in sales on lower prize levels they also indicate that Powerball ruturn $112 compared to Megamillions $82 for match 3's and lower. It's likely that the aveage lottery player that wins $10 or less is going to spend it all on the next drawings and if that is true the Powerball only give up $61 compared to Megamillions $100 per $1000 in sale per rollover which help the jackpot grow faster. My pick5, pick6 and bonus ball system
To cotti47I use programs I wrote years ago using GWBasic before such programs were commercially availabe and have modified them over the years. I also use Lotto Pro because its files can be read by a text editor and easily modified to be read by my programs. Lotto Pro shows some of the same data with graphs, but I can manipulate the outputs of my programs to make them more useful to me. I'm sure there are other ways to get the same information, but this works for me and I can modify my progra

Powerball $87 million Wednesday 5/7
Quote: Originally posted by RJOh on May 08, 2003 Had I played my selections I would have spent $20 and won $10 for a loss of $10, but if I had played powerplay I would have spent $40 and won $50 for a gain of $10. In the future, I may have to consider the powerplay in my strategy. RJOhRJ,I always play the Powerplay option. To me it's worth giving up the decreased odds for the ability to get more cash should I be lucky enough to win a prize.
