Just curious, but does anybody know...
I tend to think that pool players don't have the time to mess with picking WBS but can in a way feel some satisfaction in beating the game at its own game . I guess what I am trying to say it is some form of hybrid QP with intervention like having some effect on the outcome. Like being a little in control avoiding a complete loss.

Just curious, but does anybody know...
If I was in your pool, I probably would too. But, I don't have the 42 bucks to shell out every draw, so, I put a limit on it and guess the best I can. There are no pools around me that I am aware of for me to join.

can someone please tell me how to run a lottery pool?
Your best chance would be quick picks
Quick picks offer exactly the same chance as any other combination, but you have no chance to steer clear of types of combinations you'd rather not play.
My feeling is that pools should select their own numbers and the rules should spell out what numbers will be played. When the rules include the combinations that are intended to be played there's no chance that somebody can then claim the winning ticket was purchased as their own rather than for t

Next "Huge" jackpot??
$365 million annuity is the last record capped Powerball jackpot. So the next time Powerball goes on a record run the cap will not go into effect until it reaches $390 million annuity. If that jackpot rolls then the next drawing will only go to $415 million annuity with the rest going to the match 5 bonus prize pool. If the jackpot is hit at $390 million annuity though the next record run would not be capped until $415 million annuity.-weshar75

NEW POLL: Have any of you met a lottery winner?
I was involved in a lottery pool. There was 10 of us and we would put up $25 each . Once we ran our numbers at our corner store. A friend waited patiently for our numbers to complete and she bought the next five quick picks. The winning ticket was the third ticket she purchased. I only saw her two times after her win, she moved out of the neighborhood!!!!..................................................Joy

The so silly its stupid system
So are you saying a number not the highest or lowest in the pool is not unique to any particular position? Is the #25 in a 6/49 acceptable in any of the six positions? If you don't limit which positions a number can be in, how are the resulting combinations any different than those generated by other means?

Mass Megabucks
Massachusetts, as well as Arizona, keeps their jackpot at the minimum until the money in the pool exceeds it. The past draw just didn't make enough money to put the jackpot over the minimum.

$19M N.J. Lottery jackpot goes unclaimed
It doesn't seem right that the state keeps unclaimed prizes, it should go right into a special prize pool to be awarded at the next opportunity. Keeping the prizes when your job is to award prizes would only fuel conspiracy that there really aren't winners. In Willy Wonka there were five Golden Tickets out there and five people showed up. Not four, with Willy keeping the last ticket to himself. That guy knew how to run a contest. Is Gene Wilder still alive?
