It would nice to see a $100M megamillion jackpot, their jackpot aren't getting any higher than many state jackpots. In Ohio a third of the time the State lottery has a bigger jackpot and Megamillion has not had the jackpot sizes that the lottery commission had hoped that would attract more players. RJOh

$5850 on $45000 is +13% so for which could be +45% apr by the end of the year. I'm only getting 2.7% on my CD's. I just may have to take a better look at the pick3 games. I've been playing the jackpot games and I'm in the red.RJOh

I play the lottery because I would like to win the jackpot. I know it's a gamble and I've got to be lucky, but I only gamble what I can afford to lose. When I want to support the schools and other services the state provides, I vote yes for the taxe levies. The State levies taxes on cigarettes and whisky to support some of their services, but I don't think any one smokes and drinks just to support those services. If I wasn't hoping to win, I wouldn't play.RJOh

Before you can choose cash or annuity, you have to win a jackpot, so neither opinion is worth a bucket of slop to the aveage lottery player or even a hog farmer. Those same opinions are posted ten to twenty times everyday. Do either of you people think anyone care that much about your one opinion? Lotteries in most states were started to take advantage of the monies that were going to private casino gambling. If anything, they have failed to stay competitive when they tried to increase their profit. Pick3 games which has not change their basic format have continued to attract a constant number of players over the years.RJOh
