Probabilty of Someone Winning a PB & MM Jackpot in the same Week!
Not really, but I do agree we'll never agree this way. Saying 2 tickets changes the odds of a 1 in 140 million odd game to 1 in 70 million is assuming that each ticket is only gambling on 1/2 of the combinations. But when you have 2 tickets that are betting on all 140 million combinations, the odds are NOT cut in half. Sure, I agree if you had 2 separate games where there were 70 million possibilities (and this also applies to games with lesser odds) then buying a ticket for each game would p

True personal story (getting ripped off)
This story proves that some people should never buy lottery ticket's..You can operate a cell phone and other contraptions and don't know if you have a winner or not....If you have a pool at work make sure someone else buys the ticket's and holds them for you...You got your moneys worth on that ticket!...

how would YOU change the payouts?
NY Blotto is the game that most needs a change (higher, of course) in the OVERALL payout percentage. The upcoming NY Blotto Extra will not be an improvement-trust me. Not one cent of the second dollar will go into the jackpot pool.

Lotto 5/25: New Game Idea
This is a concept for states too small to have their own Pick 6 game. The idea is a Pick 5 of 25 game that would have pari-mutual prizes and a rolldown feature. 75 cents of each dollar would go into the prize pool and be distributed as follows: Match 5 of 5 = 50% of the prize poolMatch 4 of 5 = 25% of the prize poolMatch 3 of 5 = 15% of the prize poolMatch 2 of 5 = 10% of the prize poolMatch 1 of 5 = free ticketMatch 0 of 5 = no prize The idea is to create a game with a small number and ge

Ohio Classic Lotto Numbers
Since I am tracking this new Ohio Lottery for myself, I decided I might as well post it here. My theory is, until all numbers within the lottery pool have hit at least once, it's fragile making any dynamic predictions. But, if nothing else, it's interesting to watch a new lottery grow, especially a classic six number ball drawn lottery with no bonus ball.

Which Gail Howard Wheel is Correct?
Fellow Forum Members. I stritctly play Florida MegaMoney which requires 4 picks from a pool of 44 numbers and 1 megaball pick from a pool of 22 numbers. I have read Gail Howard's book titled Lotto Whel Five to Win and I want to start using some of her wheels. The problem I'm having is that it is not too clear to me which wheel to use for a game that utilizes one bonus ball. To elaborate, in her Table of Contents she has a group of wheels under the heading ONE Power Number Wheels - Win 4 w

Have a number - where to play it?
Hey, Badger! I guess I should have phrased my inquiry differently. What I meant to ask is if anybody knew a state where the number was hot, and had a good chance of hitting based on followers, rundowns, etc. It's dead here in FL, so was looking to widen the pool a bit. Wasn't looking for an exact prediction, I know that's impossible.

LottoVantage's StatPath 5 Lotto System
The Ohio Rolling Cash 5 lottery pool returned to dormant phase emerging in +C mode on Thursday, 01/04/07. This phase and mode is favorable for moderate or no wagering of bets utilizing the StatPath 5 Lotto System numbers for Friday, 01/05/07 The total sum migrated downwards from 109 to 80, and the average sum adjusted to 101.7 It is highly suggested that the two number strings presented below be wheeled in their entirety. Filtering can then be applied by utilizing sum reduction and HI/LO,

Total Combination List Using Excel?
The numbers I'm using are being used as examples only to keep everything at a basic level. I don't intend to play Pick 3 game. My main focus is to learn how to make Excel generate all possible combinations as a list. As for the 1,140 value, all I can say is that Excel has calculated that there are 1,140 combinations possible when 3 numbers are picked from a pool of 20 numbers.
