Upgraded the editor -- everything working OK?
I haven't had the use of text editing (without code), emoticons or the text editing bar for a couple months now. I just gave up on worrying about it but will try the suggestions in the thread. I did clear my temporary internet files to no advantage.I feel that all internet processes are about two (or more) steps ahead of the average Joe. I still use Windows 98 and a dial-up connection. Shame on me but when you can't afford the best you gotta do with what you got....and I just will not succumb to

Maybe I am not saying what I mean
you will, lottaloot, you will go all the way........Rick and Pac, my husband has a master degree in Computer Science from Cornell............way back in 1968...almost 40 years ago.....now he can't do a darn thing in excel besides simple formulas. He used to write game programs for our kids in Basic.........lol....wow.. how technology has come a long way since then. He could probably pick it up if he studied it some but he has people do that kind of work that work for him........so he says why

New Lottery Post Baseball Caps
Did you know that the Lottery Post Gift Shop is again offering baseball caps? They have even been improved. All baseball caps are now printed with new Direct Printing technology. Direct Printing is a direct-to-fabric process, with no transfers. The result is a matte image that moves with the garment because the ink is actually embedded in the fabric for ultimate wearable comfort. After a few washes, you will notice the great durability of Direct Printing.Unstructured 100% brushed cotton canvasA

Play The N.C. Lottery Over The Internet? It Could Happen
There's ways around everything. Look at Mass Lotto, they sell subscription to their state games but not MM. They don't mail the tickets, they Fed-ex them? Mailing tickets across state lines would be illegal. LOL. Anyway, as the old adage goes where there s a will there's a way . I believe all of these lotteries will be online someday, it s not if it s when. If you don t believe me, look at every other industry or market. They all tried to stop online sales. Airlines made it difficult at one t

My Lastest reply from the Hoosier lottery
That statement (by the Hoosier Lottery) is insane. They want you to see their advanced equipment? Well, Jim695 has already reported that it's a couple of creaky old PCs using a random number generator downloaded off the Internet. I wonder if that's the rigorous procedures they're talking about.Saying that ball machines are more prone to error is rediculously stupid. Everyone knows that computers crash all the time, and that humans are involved in computerized drawings as well. In fact, I

NY vs. CT
Quote: Originally posted by Maverick on February 23, 2005 Quote: Originally posted by CASH Only on February 23, 2005 Pick 10 certainly is the least-played NY online game. In fact the numbers are NOT shown on free TV. But I obviously would recommend P-10 over NY Lotto 6/59-you have a much better chance per $ of matching 0 numbers for $4 than winning the $1 prize in NY Lotto.Pick10 can be played online?Well in my experience, I hit 3 #'s in NY Lotto twice (one with my own #'s once with a QP). History to be made tomorrow!
Tomorrow, the Florida Lottery will officially end their long-standing relationship with IGT and will begin using the very popular GTech technology. They have used IGT's online system since the lottery began in 1988. GTech's terminals are much more capable, and the Florida Lottery is taking advantage with the itroduction of Grouper . But for me it's a little sad to see FL's relationship with IGT end. I remember very fondly the beautiful single-play tickets those terminals printed out. It had pai

Sooo is it legal or not? Check old post
Quote: Originally posted by WIN D on November 25, 2004 Would it still be illegal if you used a high speed satellite link (Direct TV) instead of the telephone line? The original law was written predicated on old technology. Hmmmm The Justiuce Department issued legal opinions that it is still illegal, because everything does, at some point, travel on a wire. (That is, if you're referring to the wire act.)I think I'm pretty much done with the discussion, because at this point I don't think I ha

Wisconsin Lottery switches to computers to select winning numbers
Chuck32, I stand corrected. But I do not believe Connecticut had that Sales Stop feature back then. I wouldn't be surprised if they were using that feature in their on-line system now. Like increasing numbers, (balls) I can see Powerball or USAMega doing it, they are a Multi-State Lottery. I cannot see the States doing it. They don't really need to do it. Now there, the size of a playing-population comes into play as an issue. Truth, I suspect the public is becoming too smart with the technolo
