Good luck to you!!
magie,In Ohio we say All it takes is a buck ($1) and some luck . I prefer 10 bucks and some luck . You don't have to be rich to play the lottery. It's not an investment, but entertaimment. If you can't play, you can still post some predictions and maybe you will help someone else win. I'm sure other posters don't play all their predictions. Good luck to you.RJOh

Take the Lump sum...not Annuity!
All lotteries have rules and you should read them before you play. If you don't want to play by their rules, don't play and complain, there are plenty of players willing to play by their rules. When you buy a lottery ticket, you enter an agreement to play by the posted rules. If New York is forcing you to buy their lottery tickets than you may need to take them to court and get them off your back.RJOh

Take the Lump sum...not Annuity!
When you work for someone and they pay you a salary which you accept, they probably make a profit off your good works, but to get upsetted because they paid you as agreed and still made a profit is silly. It is more silly to argue over taking lump sum or cash if win a lottery jackpot, because you haven't ever won a lottery jackpot and chances are you never will and what others who do win chooses to do will never be any of your business.RJOh

Good luck to you!!
magieSounds like you and your study group have some interesting theories. There is plenty of jackpot money out there for anyone or group that can come up with the correct numbers. If you are as good as you claim, you will be winning some money in no time. I got my own system which I have explain on this forum, hope to read more about yours. Good luck to you.RJOh

Good luck to you!!
Magie,With pick5 game in field sizes of 15-26, you have some goods odds of a win, but the payoff can't be very large. It a lot harder to come up with a win in a field of 52-53 numbers plus a bonus numbers. Why not post some numbers and show your stuff.Good luck to you.RJOh

need answer
Now I am curious.I agree with RJOh of course. But maybe you could rephrase the question once again. 21%of 61 is 63.36% is not really clear and seems to be different then the original the percent of 21 into 61 which I think was nicely answered by 21 is 34.4% of 61 = 21/61 .

Mega Millions getting boring
Any lottery game is boring to the losers, but it's the losers that create the larger jackpots. Adding more numbers will just create more chances to lose for the losers and the losers will be even more bored when someone wins a even larger jackpot. The Powerball had a nice jackpot size last Christmas under its new set-up and it's jackpot still climbs faster than the MM jackpot with the better odds.RJOh

50 Test Numbers Wisconsin Badger 5
Everett,Don't give up trying, I posted a simulation list of 249 numbers for Buckeye5 15 draws ago and the best I've done is to match 4 twice, the only times the list would have made more money than it costed to play.RJOh
