Why are there so many lottery winners that seem to be older? Maybe it's just my imagination, but he's well into his 60s, and the same goes for the recent Fresno, California Powerball winner of 213 million. And, the huge record-breaking, Powerball jackpot (590 million) won by 84 year-old Gloria Mackenzie from Florida. My theory is older people play more and see the lottery has a hobby. Maybe more senior citizens play than younger people. They might play frequently and drop more money down.

I keep telling my mom not to play MM, the odds or just so out there. Just stick with state lotto and maybe powerball. I'm not even gonna waste my time with a pool if it gets to a record jackpot. But I will buy 1 ticket myself

mild here, cleaning out garage, doing my wife's brakes (2008 1974, 305, 0305 039) so it can get inpected, came accross some old business cards, 2227 1115.... Can't beleive in't november and I' sweating.... Working tonight, might bring my kid's tablet and check in later..... how you doin' ? 743. the magic 6x due. was out 6668 draws. i posted something about this number a month or 2 ago. i knew it wouldn't take as long as the 854. doesn't matter i never got it....sigh.... carry on....sum 5 at a new max of 319 days. i was thinking it hits by 325 but now not sure. for a 1 draw state washington holds the sum 5 record at 367 draws. sum 6 a new record also at 241 draws. than there's lottery brakers basenumbers. WC is the only 1 left out of all 37 states/provinces.... 40

A couple of coworkers and I were talking about this the other day. The only thing we could think of (remotely) was that if you were being audited by the IRS (relative to your winnings), then the audit might be delayed. And if you buy your tickets during these crazy times in crazy DC, I would look over my surroundings at all times! Even the weather is crazy here. 90 degreees yesterday--a record.

You are correct. The record $656 million jackpot took 19 drawings in which it had reached $290 million on it's 17th draw.
