Expired winning tickets....Reply
I read about a similiar case a few years ago concerning a state lottery where I think there were 3 winning tickets and one went unclaimed. The decision in that case was that each ticket won a potion of the jackpot and each ticket holder was only due 1/3 of the jackpot, because that situation was covered in the rules of the games. I would bet that the Powerball game have a rule to cover that situation also.RJOh

As I understand those games, only the Jackpot winners are FORCED to receive their winnings in annunity payments, everybody else get a their winnings in a lump sum and jackpot winners are less than .00000001% of all the players. More than 99.9% of the players get their winnings in lump sum. Until you actually win one of those jackpots, you have little to complain about.RJOh

To CASH Only,The only lottery players that are effected by the annuities only policies are the winners of which there are fewer than 50 a year for most lotteries. Why should a lottery change its format to please the losers of which there are thousands? Losers may have an opinion, but who cares.RJOh

All the talk of strategies and analysis sounds interesting, but has anyone ever posted any combinations that actually won something and explained the strategy of their selections? I have read some strategies posted for the pick3 games, but I'm interested in strategies used in the jackpot games. RJOh
