How Long Will You Wait to Collect the Jackpot
I have seen a few anonymous winners for the California SuperLotto Plus. https://www.lotterypost.com/news/173483 http://www.sgvtribune.com/ci_10996500 I have never seen an anonymous winner for Mega Millions. Here is a list of winners for MM. There are a few enteries where the winner is anonymous but none of them are from California. http://www.megamillions.com/winners/jackpothistory.asp There is also a CA winners handbook here: http://www.calottery.com/win/winners-handbook On th

2 tickets win Mega Millions jackpot worth $190M
A Mega Millions jackpot advertised at $190 million has been won by two tickets, one sold in New Jersey, the other in Virginia. They matched all the numbers drawn Friday night: 11, 15, 35, 43 and 49, with Mega Ball number 41. The Megaplier was 4. Winners usually take the cash payout, which in this case would be $70 million each. Before taxes, of course. Seventeen tickets missed only the Mega Ball and won second worth $250,000: 1 from Colorado, 1 from Iowa, 1 from Maryland, 3 from Michiga

Powerball Rollover This Saturday? ( Voting )
I'd kinda like to see it roll and break the record. But I kinda doubt it will survive the frenzy this time.

$475 MILLION: Powerball jackpot nears a half-billion dollars
We will see 500 mill way befor we get to Saturday. If i remember right when the record JP of 588 was set it was from a rollover of 325 mill and the first advertised JP was showing 425 mill. Ticket sales were so strong that the 425 ended up being 588. There were 563 million in ticket sales for that one and California wasnt in it for that one so with Calif in it now and the early estimated JP is 475 opposed to 425 for that one i think we will see at least 2 changes in the amount by Saturday night.

$360 MILLION: Powerball jackpot raised on huge sales
i just noticed something funny about that number Mega Millions Jackpot for Tue, Mar 27, 2012 $363,000,000 or cash wise $260,000,000 that was MM jackpot right before it rolled and taken off to 600m range and here we here, spot on. thro with 231,700,000 cash , about 29m less if it rolls, it beat old powerball record for sure , come close to MM ,but not over even if it beats somehow the MM annuity, i doubt it can get more sales to beat cash record

$190 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot rolls
The drawing for the $190 million MM prize will be rollover #19. The only other time MM had 19 rollovers the jackpot was the record $656 million prize. It's just hard to believe the enthusiam for the MM game has been so low. With the cash option being $140 million, I might even donate a couple bucks since they now have included Florida.

So what if you're best friend won the lottery??
I've thought about doing something like this in the past but the only problem I have is in a state where the winners' names are public record. The newspaper headlines might say, (my real name) and his friend so and so won the jackpot. I'd hate to have to expose a friend or family member to the press and make them deal with the media frenzy. If I won anything more than $20 million, I'd most likely collect the prize myself so only my name ends up in the newspapers and gift the money to my frien

if "someone" found a way to beat the lottery wheel-would you label that cheating?
Sounds like a Star Trek episode. When Captain Kirk was using his communicator to talk to his ship in space, the cell phone hadn't been invented and the Ipad was just a dream when Captain Prepard was using it to record his logs to the main computer.
