win Win WIN The Powerball Jackpot Now!!
Mr. Whittaker has stated that he was only interested in the lotteries when the jackpots reached $100M or more and he bought a $100 worth of QP tickets. That seems pretty simple to me, hardly worth putting in a book. By the way I bought $42 worth of tickets so I missed buying a jackpot ticket by $58, next time I will know better.RJOh

its nice to see...
Looks like this guy is use to having money, so a few more millions or less is not going to make him run and hide. Most likely his associates have money too, so he's not expecting them to be setting at his door steps looking for a hand-out. He deals with the poor by hiring them, not supporting them.RJOh

Megamillions picks 12/24/02
It might not be a Merry Chistmas for you to get an annual Christmas check for over $2M for the next 25 yrs, but a lot of people would be fine with that.RJOh

Megamillions picks 12/24/02
Once all 52 bonus balls have been drawn there will be no combination that has not won a prize. Right now 13 bonus balls have not been drawn so any combination that has matched less than three and has one of those bonus ball have not won a prize. I just the only way to guarantee a prize is to play all 52 bonus ball. I did that with Powerball and I hope I do better.RJOh

Megamillions picks 12/24/02
To Bug,There may be less than you think when you consider the following:For a 5/52 + 1/52 lottery every winning combination produce the following:5/5 + B =1 combo5/5 = 51 combo4/5 + B = 235 combo4/5 = 11985 combo3/5 + B = 10810 combo3/5 = 551310 combo2/5 + B = 162150 combo1/5 + B = 891825 combo0/5 + B = 1533939 comboTotal winning combo per draw = 3162306It will take a little more math than that to come up with your answer.RJOh

42 Chances at Powerball $39
I agree with CASH Only. If you use the extra dollar to play powerplay your overall odds of having a winning ticket remains at 1:36, but you can double your winnings or better. However if you buy another ticket you odds of having a winning ticket changes to 1:18 and powerplay only counts if you win something.RJOh

72 win $100,000
In that article, it was stated of the 57.3 Million tickets sold 1,579,793 were winners. 57.3M divided by 1,579,793 equals 36.27. That's about what one would expect.RJOh

72 win $100,000
Sorry again, 2,505,965 winning combinations means x 36 = 90,214,740 combinations solded which could cover 75% of the possible 120,526,770 combinations. I was doing some other calculations for a lottery and confused my figures. I think these figure are close, but if anyone else have better figures, please post them.RJOh

72 win $100,000
Sorry, I made a mistake 36 x 90,214,740 winning combinations would be 3,247,730,640 combinations solds which means they sold more than enough to cover all 120,526,770 combinations. Obvisouly they didn't sell the one that counted and I doubt if that will happen twice.RJOh

42 Chances at Powerball $39
RJOh,When the pot is this big, if you have to money to do that I definitely agree with your plan. By buying the 42 powerballs you lower your odds of winning the jackpot to 2.9 Million. Alot better than 120 Million, especially since the pot is $216M/$117M Cash.
