Lottery pools are a way for players who want more chances to win than they are willing to pay for or can afford and they work fine until a large sum of money is won and those players who want to share the winnings but weren't willing or couldn't afford to pay before the drawing come forward. They are the players who only want to be in the pool when it wins.

I post these news stories, so I have a good feel for what kind of winners are out there. Most of the winners, by far, are solo players/winners. (A couple claiming a prize is still a solo winner.) You see an increase in pool winners for these big jackpots because the number of pools greatly increases when the jackpots get big. But they are still the minority of winners.

I'm not sure as to where I would live if I won the lottery. All I know is that I would buy a modest house and add a few things, such as a pool, hot tub, game room, barbecue, etc.

I think that will be more of an influence after the 200 mark. There would have to be sufficent motive for most people to travel to another state to get tickets. Megamilions may not even need outside state sales if it breaks 300 since it's such a rare event and Mega has a larger pool of potential players.

With the way the Powerball jackpots have been rolling, it's very possible the next record annuity jackpot will hit between $365 and $390 million if Powerball keeps rolling, in which case there is no match 5 bonus pool but the cap increases. Of course, Powerball could also roll once more beyond that if that happens, in which case we may very well see the first $400 million annuity jackpot.

While 3 of the 5 winning numbers (11 12 15 32 35) were in my number pool, they are were alone in 6 of the 10 lines I played and I didn't even match the odds of matching 2 for $1. I'm going try again tomorrow and increase the lines I play to 20 because the jackpot rolled to $369K. Good luck if you play.

Auto or Pick?Reply
My pool does Picked...we play the same numbers until a substantial win on one ticket comes. Then we yank that ticket out and replace it with an Auto, but continue to play that Auto's numbers from that draw forward.

Mega Millions lottery jackpot leaps to $138 millionReply
Well all guess no new millionaire's this week .. our pool won 40.00 in the PB Sat night and 10.00 in the mega I guess that it will pay for the pool's next drawing But I think that my luck might be changing! I NEVER hit anything!!!!! And to BOOT on scratch off's I always waste my money and no winners And I scratched one yesterday that was a 50.00 hitter LOL So that was nice for a change! But good luck to everyone for Tues and Wed nights drawings!!

New Club, there is something you haven't thought of. If some group does this, it will reach the media. Then there will be other clubs that form. When 2 or 3 such groups start covering all the numbers, then suddenly the pot has to be split 3,4, maybe even 5 times, (2 winners and up to 3 pots). At this point you are not breaking even or even coming close. Now if you assume that yours is the only group doing this, you also have to assume that no one screws up. Or that at every gas stat

consistancy that is one the main keys!! And that is what we do ... in our pool their are 5 of us as well!! All females and hard working mom's that have BIG DREAMS ( I am sure just like ur group!) that is what i LOVE TO SEE ... HARD working adults winning!
