Pick 5 or 5 ball lottery
Last night (10/29/02) winning numbers were 03-06-23-32-34. There were 2 match 3 and 30 match 2 in the posted group of numbers which would have yeilded $1.86 for every $10 invested (about the same as playing $10 worth of numbers each draw). This winning numbers had also matched 3 once during the last 40 draws.RJOh

Pick 5 or 5 ball lottery
When I first found this forum, it was mostly used by Biggame and other Jackpot type game players. Later pick3 player started using it and almost crowded out the jackpot type game players making it more like Maybell, but Todd changed the format and now each type of game has its own section, which makes it easier to find postings about the game of your choice. Hopefully players of the pick5 games have something to share and will post.RJOh

Play responsibly
Sounds like this person learned a valuable lesson. The next time he reads that only one combination of a possible 100 million plus combinations will win the jackpot, he will believe it.RJOh

I don't use a matrix system but a random number generator. But I use parameters which limits numbers in each positions to the range of numbers that have appear in that position before . For example for Megamillion the 1st position = 1-31, 2nd = 2-42, 3rd = 4-49 and etc. and I limits how many times a number will be picked. I use other parameter such as sums, ranges, gaps and etc., so I guess the combinations are similiar to those that would be picked useing some kind of matrix system.RJOh

how is cash option figured?
You are asking the wrong question, the cash value is based on tickets sales, it is the annunity amount that they try to estimate using predicted interest rates on the investment of the cash value. Todd explained it in an earlier post and Powerball explains it on their website.RJOh

To Bug,You got one number that really counted this time and you got your dollar back and some. I matched 3 and 1+bonus for $10. Jade only had one number in the mix, but when the numbers are in his mix, he hits several times.RJOh

Hey there RJOH,prhaps what we discussed may bear fruit with tidbits that can be passed on to the rest of our forum. I was piddlin' with the way I described on the Super lotto and picked up $500 on Saturday but dropped the ball on Wednsday. These games sure can be a ! $#!!+ at times. Later on.... Teufellj

George Sedertree Where are you?
To Sedertree,I was talking to one of the other posters. He had an idea about wheeling his pick5's in the same way as he wheels pick3's and I remembered you once posted an idea for a 5 numbers matrix that worked similiar, but I never saw any follow up on it. I hope you will continue to post your theories and ideas, even if I don't understand them I like to read them.RJOh
