Early talks for a joint Powerball-British lottery game
What would the jackpots be like? $500M? I don't think politicians would like that too much. A man or woman with that kind of money without any dirt on them for leverage? are you kidding me? We'll see, won't we? :)

California school teachers hit $76M lottery jackpot
When people choose to gamble, it's voluntary and if they don't think the rewards (prizes) are worth the risk (odds) then they shouldn't play. There are games with better odds and smaller prizes for those who like those types of games but they aren't for me, I like lottery games with jackpots of $20M to $200M.

Nationwide, lottery jackpots keep getting bigger
That was because the people standing in lines were from out of state. Now almost every state has a local lottery and one of the multi-state lottery games. Before MegaMillions came to Ohio, I and friends would travel over the border to play BigGame in Michigan and PowerBall in Indiana when their jackpots got close to $100M.

Combine MegaMillions & Powerball? take the poll
The size of the jackpot is controlled by the odds, not by the number of people who play. The number of players only determines how fast the jackpots grow. Do you think it would make sense to also add the odds of 1 in 195 million and 1 in 175 million to get a game with odds of 1 in 370 million?

Combine MegaMillions & Powerball? take the poll
When Powerball aded Florida the odds jumped up considerably, if I remember right from 146 million to 1 to 194 million to one. That's with the addition of one state.
Whether you look at a combined MM / PB lottery as a 29 state game picking up 12 more states, or vice versa, I hate to think what that would do to the matrix.
I'd like to see some kind of nationwide lottery with wider payouts (more winners), but the lure of half a billion dollar jackpots and up is just something the lotteries us

Oklahoma Cash 5 / Pick 3 - Best Approach?
You should never spend that kind of money on any lottery game I know people that have won jackpots spending only $50-$100 in the daily games and some of the jackpot games using systems or software,I personally hit the Cash 3 5 times over a period of time spending $10-$15 using lottery software.

Winnings
Hi guys! I'm sure this has been asked before but I just wanted to find out the largest jackpots you've won from the lottery? This can include scratch offs and drawings. The largest I've one has been $100 from a Monopoly scratch off. I did win $41 this year for hitting 4 of 6 in the State drawing.

Lottery Pool/Club
Your risk to reward ratio isn't any worse by playing in a pool, either. I'd say that makes it strictly a matter of personal preference. There's no objective basis for saying one is better than the other.
OTOH, by suggesting that somebody switch from playing in a pool when jackpots are large to playing solo regardless of jackpot size you're suggesting that they make a deliberate choice to increase their risk relative to the reward. Why spend $1 for a 1 in 20 million chance of winning $5 millio
