Um, there's no way the jackpot can increase for Saturday because of Powerball's "share the wealth" feature. Any unexpected increase in sales will only add to the match 5 bonus pool, not the jackpot.

Yes, the MUSL did correct the cash value option - they now have it listed as $177.3 million, which is probably correct, which implies that $10.9 million is projected to be in the match 5+0 bonus pool for Saturday.

I think that Powerball by the time it draws on wednesday night is going to be at least a $310 million annuity so if it does roll the next jackpot will be $365 million annuity and anything after that will be the match 5 bonus pool.-weshar75

Well, the way I use her system is to NOT play the number she suggests I use. It is 98 percent effective in getting the pool down. It is the 2 percent that is driving me nuts. Because 2 percent of the time one of the numbers shows up.

Prob988, California just started a promotion in the previous draw in Mega Millions regardless if jackpot is rolled or not. If CA matches 5 numbers, but not the Mega Ball, some more money is added to that prize pool. I'm guessing 60 million the jackpot rolls again.

Bradly, Mega Millions in California has a promotion. From January 21st to February 17th, Mega Millions is adding more than $1 million to the 5/5 pool. People winning 5/5 will get lucky. An example occurred in January 24th [last draw], when someone won $365K matching 5/5.
