Just A Powerball Observation
Yeah I purchased a $5 quick pick Sunday afternoon and then tonight I purchased another $5 quick pick ticket. Both times I purchased an item before I bought the ticket to see if its any luck lol. Anyways, I got the Powerball 24 26 twice on both tickets and before I got the tickets I was doing calculations on Excel and I got those two as a Powerball number. So beware 24 or 26 is the Powerball number tonight lol...don't ask I'm just saying. Cheers!

Don't Pick on QP!
There's a lot of talk about quick picks, and how it's the no brainer system. I saw someone even call it a waste of money. I don't know the statistics in other states, but in Florida more than half the winning tickets for Lotto, Mega Money, and Fantasy 5 have been quick picks after the games were changed to a larger matrix. I like those odds.

Why I think quick picks suck
Yeah, that's probably the way to go. I used to play only quick picks, but nowadays I write spreadsheets to pick random numbers for me, but I set filters to prevent crap like 1-3-4-5-10 from being selected. The only reason I bought a quick pick tonight is because I'm out of town with only my laptop and I didn't remember to transfer all my spreadsheets over from my desktop. Oh well, I guess I'll fell like an idiot for posting this thread if that number is drawn tonight, huh?

Why I think quick picks suck
Just bought a quick pick for the Texas Two Step drawing tonight. Here's what the computer spit out at me: 1-3-4-5+10. NICE! I know, I know, quick picks win a majority of jackpots, but give me a break. I think that's probably the last quick pick I will ever buy.........EVER.

Couple loses 'lucky' lottery numbers, wins $27 million
Once Again, proof that man has zero inpact on the tube. It will randomly drop numbers, and those that think otherwise are not thinking. Random numbers means a random number pick is best. Quick Picks have way more winers then those sitting on some wheel. Enjoy life, spend time with the family, then go buy a quick pick. THE BEST OPTION TO WIN THE LOTTERTY!

Ever had an Easy/Quick Pick exactly match your picked numbers?
I know the odds of it happening are generally high (especially for jackpot games) but has anyone here had it happen?

California Post 4-14 thru 4-20
I bought a quick pick with 909, but unfortunately when I buy a quick pick with a number that fell already it never shows up and the other number was 286 which fell on the 8th of April. Good luck and look out for a sequence number like 781, 089, 687, 390, and 210.

Another thought on the subject....Lottery Post has a good Quick Pick section where you can generate some quick picks and then weed out the ones that don't look good to you personally. I think that's a better way of getting quick picks than letting a lottery machine pick them because then you're just stuck with 'em even if they are 17-18-19-20-21-55..........................
