cvzz It might sound silly but now I go play just before the draw so they dont have time to change things around. With paranoia you'll never have to dine alone! It's not like they're not leeting anybody hit. See the Illinois Little Lotto Jackpots 2008 thread in the Pick 5 Forum. There's been 122 jackpots this year paid out to 170 winners. Welcome to LP.

Low Jackpots and the Economy
Indeed...but if I want a 12 million dollar jackpot, I can play my local state lottery. My point is that the mega millions and powerball market themselves as having these extra large jackpots that can reach 500 million dollars, and lately, they rarely hit 100 million.

Low Jackpots and the Economy
I play the same amount no matter what shape the economy is in.I play $2 for each Powerball (with powerplay) drawing and $1 dollar for each Mega Million drawing, for a total of $6 dollars a week.I don't care how big the jackpots grow,I spend the same amount. You only need one ticket to win.

I Am Sick Sick Sick!!
You don't know the definition of sick. Sick is when you intend to play a particular number or numbers, you don't and the number hits. Playing a dollar quick pick requires no thought or analysis so any prize is good fortune. Heck some people chase those powerball jackpots spending three hundred or more and don't get squat!

Anyone here use GAIL HOWARDS "SMART LUCK"? Mostly for Pick 5 games.
her software is an EXCELLENT SOURCE of information for playing the numbers i've been using it since 1998 the only thing i don't like are her WHEELS people have won jackpots using them as recently as this year but i never could so i just use her charts when developing my own software strategies the best software in my opinion on the market is GAIL HOWARD , LOTTO-HAT , EXPERT LOTTO AND LS 2004

Kansas Lottery sales decline
The economy is having its impact on the sale of Kansas Lottery tickets, according to lottery officials. Lottery Executive Director Ed Van Petten said Wednesday that ticket sales between July 1 and last Saturday are down 4% over the same period of time last year. Van Petten said the economy has been a factor, but that isn't the only reason for slumping sales. He said ticket sales have been down in the games with large jackpots because the jackpots haven't been that much in recent months.

Illinois Little Lotto Jackpots 2008
The number of winners includes shared jackpots, on a night where two or more people hit there is one jackpot but multiple winners. That's why the combined number of QP and PS (Quick picks and player selected numbers) comes out to more than the number of jackpots. Tonight was a solo: LITTLE LOTTO PRIZE PAYOUTS FOR TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2008 WINNING NUMBERS: 04 - 07 - 17 - 29 - 32 PLAYERS MATCHING 5 OF 5 NUMBERS INCLUDING SUBSCRIPTION WINNERS 1 EACH PLAYER WILL RECEIVE

Ohio Lottery website taking a survey of possible MM changes.
I would not be surprised at all if ticket prices when to $2 per ticket. It's either that or raise the odds if they want larger jackpots. Personally if they want players to play more they can make the winnings of jackpot games exempt from Federal tax like everywhere else in the world instead.
