Winning Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $56M sold in Michigan
Hmm, looking on the MM site that 267 million dollar winner was actually 270. But still, two huge winners in the same state and back to back. They're also the sixth and seventh largest Mega Millions jackpots.

Winning Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $56M sold in Michigan
Ohio offers its own game 6/49 Classic Lotto and now that MegaMillionsis starting over at $12M, CL jackpot of $20.8M is looking good again. A $56M jackpot is nice if you're the one that won it, heck even the$20.8M jackpot would look good to me if I won it. I meant compared to the usual MM big jackpots. I was wondering if there would be any more BIG jackpots this year. BIG as in $100M+. Here in California, for SuperLotto a $20M+ jackpot is great. For MM it isn't. Lord, I should just go ba

Girl struck by lightning, wins lottery
Somebody called the Ohio lottery claiming they had the winning ticket and inquired about setting up a blind trust. I've read where more people get struck by lightning than win MM jackpots but never read the odds on people waiting to validate their ticket.

Virginia man wins $250,000 twice in three months
Actually if he missed by one number twice, I would consider that very unlucky. Compare $500,000 to what the two jackpots would have been. Now that would be lucky.

Ohio Classic Lotto 5/28
I don't agree with the payout either. After this current jackpot run, I won't play again for another 4 months. I would love to see them bring back the Super Lotto Plus. Jackpots start at $4 million and increase one million every drawing. I doubt they would do it, but maybe if they created a game with Michigan it would be possible.

The world's biggest jackpot - 25 million
Seems like a dearth of large jackpots this year. I know each jackpot can reset but I don't think 2008 will set any records at this pace.

Quick Picks Are NOT Random
I didnt mean rigged like the lottery was behind it. I just meant predictable which it isnt supposed to be. The odds are SUPPOSED to be 1:180,000,000 or whatever it is to win Powerball. Not less than 1:50,000. The odds should be 1:36 to win a prize, not 1:3. If everyone used my system, in the long run, the players would be +EV versus the house and the jackpots would never increase.

Should EZMoney receive "Hall of Fame" title in his avatar?
I agree. I would love to win one jackpot. lol. Winning two good sized jackpots isn't something you see everyday.

California Gov. calls for expanding, privatizing lottery
I am not sure how having more games is going to increase revenue. They seem to have all the bases covered with a large jackpot lottery (SuperLotto Plus), smaller jackpot game (fantasy 5), daily games (daily 3 and 4), and scratchers. I don't think decreasing the odds of SupperLotto Plus in order to get larger jackpots is a good idea. We already have one low odds to win jackpot game with Mega Millions.

*Jackpot Winner!!**
The other day the state of Minnesota proudly announced their 20th Powerball jackpot winner since the game began in 1992 and yet some of the lottery software advertisers would have you believe their costumers win more jackpots than that in a single year. There's just not as many jackpot winners as they have people claiming to have won a jackpot using their software.
