I don't understand either why term string is being used here. String makes sense in programming languages, but it doesn't seem to be used properly here. It must be something from old days I am not familiar with. It seems to be a couple of ways people are trying to predict lottery numbers: math (by using math operations) string (numbers as images or text with no numerical value) mystical methods (dates, birthdays, stars ...) combined (combination of any methods above)
