Canada couple loses out on $1.64M jackpot
Seeing how the paying pool members will only get $952K after not splitting with the Clancys who expected to get $1.65M, they must have been expecting to get two shares as if they both had paid into the pool. That seems both stupid and greedy if neither was contributing to the pool.

Lottery Pool form/agreement
I want to start a lottery pool with a few members of my family and some friends (total 6). After all of the stories I've read about past pool members suing for part of the jackpot, I want to protect the pool members.
Does anyone already have an agreement that they can share, or, if not, give me some ideas on what terms to include?
Thanks :-)

Worker skips office Mega pool, loses share of $319M
Here's my thoughts on this, and sort of winning in general. Had he participated in the pool the time the pool leader went to the store and the time the clerk pushed the putton would be different, almost certainly giving different numbers, meaning the group/pool wouldn't have won.
His refusal to participate in the pool is responsible for them winning, as well as everything else during the day, as if anything else happended differently they would not have had the same numbers.

I never said they shouldn't respect his wishes for not participating in the pool.

Disputed $50M lottery jackpot partially paid out
And this is the prime reason to NEVER buy any tickets for yourself at the same place as you made the purchase for the lottery pool!
You as the person running the lottery pool ALWAYS purchase your personal tickets at another retailer 10 minutes after the purchase for the lottery pool! And you NEVER buy the same number of tickets as the lottery pool!
I will never buy into any lottery pool of any kind at any time in my life, for this one reason as above in the article! I don't need the headac
