What's the most anyone here has won?
I won the mm once for 28 million. The Florida lotto for 12 million and the N.Y. lotto for 18 million. I'm just driving a limo because I got bored siiting around my pool with a harem present all day long.

Powerball, what if........
There were 21 winners of the 5+0 tier in the last drawing. With bonus pool at $ 20 million and more players in this drawing, it probably won't cause a huge bump in the 2nd tier prize, perhaps 50-100K.

Powerball, what if........
Yes, the bonus pool would roll down to the 4+1 winners if there were a jackpot winner(s), but no 5+0 winners. That's almost statistically impossible, pretty close to the odds of winning Powerball on just one ticket!

Powerball, what if........
According to MUSL's website, the prize is split among all 5+0 winners. If there are only 2, then yes, those 2 would split it, and ONLY those 2, and it would be a lump-sum, NOT an annuity. The jackpot winner gets NO PART of the bonus pool - this is why it is called Share the Winnings. If no one matches 5+0 (assuming the JP is hit), the prize will go to the next lowest tier with winners.

Match 5 bonus Pool
I find it very interesting to imagine any psycholigcal state of mind when a player finds his/her ticket with 5+0, right after the drawing but surely before knowing the existence of any jackpot winner(s).I thik that's another interesting point of PB Match 5 Bonus Prize Pool.

Match 5 bonus Pool
This jackpot would have been $180 million cash, $371 million annuitized without the Pool Rule! Grrr. Now, I may change my tune if it's hit and I'm a 5+0 winner!

Powerball Lottery Jackpot Grows to New Record of $340 Million
No, in any state except California, you would win the full $250,000 per ticket. Powerball's match 5 bonus pool is respectful - Powerball just knows when to say enough is enough - after all, how much do lottery jackpot winners really need? Yes, the individual states do cover the $200,000 prize. Imagine what a shock it would be to the Virgin Islands if they had more than one PowerPlay match 5+0 winner - that could put the Virgin Islands lottery out of business!

Powerball lottery fever hits the USA
How is that misleading advertising? It is perfectly legal for lotteries to invest jackpot prizes just so they can pay out a higher jackpot than they could all by themselves. I think it's respectful that they have a match 5 bonus pool - the Powerball folks just know when to say enough is enough - how much do lottery jackpot winners really need?

Powerball jackpots
It will be interesting to see if instead of increasing the announced jackpot they will be increasing the announced Bonus prize pool. I believe the amount will be over $13,000,000.Brad
