I have one of those bingo baskets. The plastic? balls are about 5/8 diameter and are numbered from 01 to 75. It is fun to play with but I have not had any luck either. Maybe I should use as a wheel mixing my pool numbers.

I agree that NC should be playing MM on Tuesdays and Fridays. Then on Wednesdays and Saturdays, I think they should join Lotto South and increase the number of white balls from 49 to 54, but still 6 WB wins jackpot. If you include NC in the population pool of MM, what's the total population of all MM states?

figures no sooner than i complain that quik piks never win for our pool, we got the first 4 out of 5 numbers. what a bummer that 100 dollars for 4 and 200,000 for getting 5 #'s. oh well i still love the challenge of using the wheel, and will never give up.

A state might go a week without a double and then in the following week play catch up. Expect a double to hit every 3 to 4 draws. Whenever there is a 0 in the last draw. And doubles sometimes follow doubles.

Easy-Win Concepts
We've seen some lotteries replacing some of their games with games that have better overall odds, and that put more of the prize pool in smaller prizes. Which one is the best though? My pick has to be the original, Match 6. Not only are there plenty of smaller prizes which are easy to win, but it also gets big jackpots. And not just any big jackpots, big CASH jackpots!

I realize that, painfully. But a lot of that has to do with the fact they are targeting the same people that play MM and PB. And it's not just pick-6 games, but all jackpot-driven games, like Lotto Texas. Here's an idea, lower the matrix (but not by too much), and put more of the prize pool towards lower-tier prizes. That will help carve a better niche between pick-5 games and the multi-state games.

Powerball should tie their $25 million limit increase to the cash value option and not the annuity. That would enable them to still have their match 5 bonus pool.

The time to work on your strategy is when the jackpot is low. When the jackpot reaches $250M, it's time to apply it. Even plans to put together a pool or friends or coworkers to play should have the rules and details worked out before then to eliminate confusion in case of a win.
