Will gamble on lottery revenue pay off for N.C.?
todd:If only unclaimed MM or PB jackpots went back into the jackpot pool. But MM/PB players seem more serious about holding on to their tickets.

Is it possible....
There was a relevant news story just a couple of years ago or so when the Powerball jackpot hit over $ 200 million. I think the some of the players on the Minnesota Vikings formed a pool where each one put up $ 1,000. Even with all the tickets they could've bought, they still came up empty on the grand prize. There's no indication that they were even able to match 5 balls.

A More Mega
Great concept as usual Jimmy. The 62 number pool scares me though...just seems so impossible. Don't you think a 5/40 + 2/25 matrix would be a lot more inviting?? Same odds.

That's a whole Lotto bread!
I wonder if that one player who didn't participate will later claim that they were actually part of the lottery pool? That must really suck though. Everyone in the bakery just won a ton of money and that one person didn't. If that were me, I'd probably cry for days. lol.

Lotto Texas - World's Worst Jackpot Game?
Yep, that's just the way it works sometimes. You set a minimum jackpot high, but it takes a while for the actual money in the prize pool to exceed it. It happens in AZ and MA too.

Mastering ...Caution: Touchy subject
Ihave found this thread interesting and want to toss in my two cents.I am currently tracking 18 states with Prime Line and have found there is really no difference between them. They all react the same no matter how the balls are selected. I have said before that when you use Prime Line the numbers react much like pool balls react in a pool game. There are specific patterns within Prime Line that will give you a good opportunity to win something. The fact that I track 18 states gives me more

Powerball lottery changes go into effect Sunday
Me too. I run a lottery pool at the office of both Powerball and Lotto tickets. I can buy all the lotto tickets in one purchase, but have to keep going back for Powerball. Now I can take care of all of it in one shot every payday. PrisonerSix
