The Stench of DISGUST in PA: a Cash 5 Travesty
For the people that said they will boycott (myself included), I think we are all saying that in anger but after (say a month?) I beleive that we WILL PLAY IT. Here's why: if you play lotto regularly then what game will you play as an alternative to Cash 5? ... After a little while when people see the jackpots reaching close to $500,000 (and this will happen often) they WILL PLAY ..THE reasons why: It will be the best payout will the best odds offered daily. IT IS THE MONEY THAT DRIVES

I want to ask a question about our national lottery
I doubt if the jackpots would be of similar sizes and odds of winning as the ones in the U.S. and sell for half the price as much of the goods we import from China. If however they offer similar payouts with similar odds of winning for half the price, maybe they would sell in the U.S.

When you win a small prize
I just stick to my budget. A few weeks ago I won $15 in the state lotto. But I only play the state lotto and MegaMillions when the jackpots are above a certain amount. When I went to cash in my tickets last week, both Lotto and MM were below the amount at which I play, so I just applied the $15 toward my groceries.

PA Cash 5 Changing Matrix
Apparently realizing that PA lacked a classic jackpot game and Treasure Hunt has taken over as the better odds option, the Pennsylvania Lottery is changing Cash 5. There will now be 43 numbers in the field as opposed to 39, and jackpots will start at $125,000 instead of $100,000. More info later.

FBI following leads in lottery scam
It's legal to buy tickets for yourself. If you win the Canadian lottery then you get the check after 60-90 days like any other lottery. Depending on how it pays out you would have to send a check to the IRS since the Canadian lottery isn't going to withhold anything. Prizes in Canada are paid in cash and are tax-free for people that have governments smart enough not to tax state run jackpots.

Has anyone here ever won the big jackpot?
Not a dumb question, but I do not think you will get an answer. The winner(s) of Big Jackpots will likely want to remain in the quiet background of anonymity.

LP memebers random observations and "laws of lotto"
And add that in actuality, you will redeem your jackpot at the local store as it will be $500/$600 or less. You will never go to the headquarters to redeem the Big Jackpots! Just a dream that you will beat the odds. So concentrate on the smaller games and be happy with consistent small wins. They add up, you know!

Suggested QP VS Choosing Survey Project
OK, so for a 31 day run we had 21 jackpot winners in 31 days. (The 21 winners counts jackpots that were split, there were 12 jackpots in the 31 days). 3 days really isn't enough to draw any conclusions, but on this run we've seen that a QP is more likely to be a solo hit and the average QP jackpot is about $21,000 more than a picked-number jackpot. Mere chump change as compared to a Pick 6 or 5 +1, but how many of us have $21,000 in our pockets? I'm going to start a thread in Jac

Large Jackpot in 2008 PB and/or MM
IMO we will see a few jackpots reach the 250 million mark and maybe one or two reach 300 million. I'm not sure if we will see a 400 million jackpot unless there is another matrix change.
