No, my focus isn't on members in this forum...my focus is on having my six numbers on my lottery ticket match up with the six numbers drawn in that night's lotto drawing. Besides, I am so busy traveling now that I only visit LP to check the jackpots to quickly determine whether or not I should buy one or two extra QPs for PB or MM or whether it is worthwhile to spend a dollar on that state I happen to be passing through state lottery...of course, I always find it worthwhile to purchase advance

Lottery programs and never a Pick 5
Pick5 games seldom payout a prize of $500,000 or more. Ohio's Rolling Cash5 have winners usually every week but the jackpots seldom get over $300,000 and stories about those size prizes aren't very interesting except to the winners.

Seeking answers and understanding about this site...
Tuff said I've won 0 jackpots and that's because I rarely play and it's pretty much a fact you can't win if you don't play. If you're going to call it a personal attack every time somebody states the obvious, you'll probably have a problem understanding this site or any other message board site.

Florida Lotto rolled once more
The odds never change. They are always 1 in 23 million. It's true that more people buy tickets when the jackpot is high, but it has no effect whatsoever on whether or not your numbers will be drawn. Still almost all Florida Lotto jackpots are won by a single ticket. (sometimes the winner is a pool, but it's still a single ticket) Good luck!

'Infrequent buyer' claims $34M Powerball lottery jackpot
There wasn't as much potential harm in giving out the winner's information and taking their picture holding a huge check when lotto jackpots were $1 million. Most payouts were $50,000 before taxes for the next 20 years so how much a person could give away was limited.
With jackpots of $50 to $100 million, winners should get the right to be anonymous up to a point. If a lottery wants to get a group of players complaining and saying the lottery is rigged, all they have to do is say the winni

You Just Won $10,000 or More
I would think that the increase in the number of lottery games with those type of jackpots has really increased in the last 5 years or so. I remember when there were only a few scratch off games, and once a day number draws,,,now they cover the week...anyway,,,I would not increase my play, I would just merely continue what i was doing,,,,after all if I one once playing the way I do why change it....

Suggested QP VS Choosing Survey Project
You know, when I read through this, there is some information that seem to be deliberately left out. It's something that would help me make a more informed decision on the purchasing of Quick Picks. It's the total number of Quick Picks it took to get those jackpots and also not just the days when there was jackpot win. You point out only the positive, but never show the negative side. That's consistent with what is know as a 'Con Game'.

Jackpot Value.
I think anything above $25,000 is considered a jackpot. Of course $100,000's or a million or more is a big win, but I think many people who've won smaller amounts consider those wins to be jackpots for themselves.

Congrats to him. He's a very lucky guy! Winning two large jackpots must be a great feeling.

Idaho woman hits fifth lottery jackpot in five years
Jarasan started a thread asking what we consider to be a jackpot and I thought of this news article when I read it. Did she win a jackpot 5 times? Yes, but what did the total add up to after years of playing? Hey, this lady is awfully lucky and I'd love to win even the one prize of $15,000 to catch up, but her 5 jackpots don't add up to one Fantasy 5 jackpot, and certainly not a Lotto win.
Captain Lotto is absolutely right. Many of our members dream about hitting $100M in PB or MM but many
