There's plenty of grease to go around for those palms. It's so funny, If there was a way to bribe God into getting into heaven, someone would try to figure out how. I tell ya.....

Writing about online gambling now illegal in WA state
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2003062386_danny15.html I'm so glad I live in such a corrupt state. Our Gambling commition must be on the bribe train with the tribal casinos. I wonder if bribes are direct deposit for their convience. Just remeber this may be the blueprint for a federal law. Just like DCMA prevents people from even talking about bypassing controlls on media.

I need an opinion....
I give my friends the picks.. No need to charge them for something that takes nothing out of my pocket. Why would you want to take a bribe when you are doing financially ok with your numbers.. This game should be fun.. not work. If you take money for the plays, and they don't come.. What are the chances of losing your friendship there? As for worrying about the lottery officials.. I am not sure they will notice.. They will have plenty of loser numbers to cover the cost..

NH Powerball lottery winner sues for anonymity
It's interesting in the sense of what this person feels she needs to do in order to feel safe after winning. The jackpot style of gambling has taken hold. Rather than a few or more modest winners, we now have one winner with an obscene amount of money that really if we're completely honest no one needs and is not reflective of normal wealth distribution. So what does she feel she needs to do? Hide her identity. The goverment and their contractors who are private by the way, only care about the i

Why it is important to remain anonymous...
You're assuming that criminals think logically. Do you remember the winner in Georgia that was killed when 3 guys broke into his house? Were they thinking he had a mattress stuffed with cash in his bedroom? How about Abraham Shakespeare, robbed and murdered by his girlfirend? Jeffrey Dampier, murdered by his sister-in-law? And while not connected to the lottery, here's a case in England where a lawyer's wife and child were kidnapped over a 5,000 unpaid bill for carpentry work. Sure, it would

Postal worker prevents man from losing thousands to lottery scams
I'll never understand why people fall for these. There are plenty of examples of things here in the US where you have to pay some sort of tax, yet you don't have to pay anything to receive them. If I ever get one of these scam letters I'll send them a reply telling them to simply take the taxes/duties/fees out of my winnings. It would be interesting to see if they respond to me. I would try to bribe them in another reply, saying once they send me the money I would send triple the taxes/dut

Smart Animal
My cats love to go outside, and they stay in our own yard. An idiot neighbor moved in next door and started throwing stuff at them over the fence! So I've had to make them stay inside, much as they beg go to out. I've told them to pray to their little kitty god for money so that we can move someplace where they can go out again and I PROMISE I'll find a safe place where they can enjoy the outdoors again. Been telling them that for a couple years now, but it hasn't worked. Wonder what else I c

Son of UK lottery winner says his mother kicked him out years ago
I agree with those who say winning the lottery has nothing to do with who deserves it and who doesn't. I don't know that I deserve it, but I can sure tell you that those who'll tell you whether or not I do will depend largely on who I help when I win, won't it? Regardless of whether they 'deserve' it, while this couple is being tried in the court of public opinion, I'd like to point out that there's at least two sides to a story, and the truth usually resides somewhere in between the two. The
