The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
I first went into a very busy Circle K at lunch time. It's new and was recently opened. Big mistake!
I was at the tail end of the line and the clerk motioned for me to go to the head of the line. So I said excuse me and walked past guys who had been in line prior to me even though I had absolutely no idea why she called me to the head of the line.
I asked for a millionaire raffle ticket. She looked at me and said A millionaire raffle ticket? To which I simply said Yes .
She l

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
... whether or not the Florida Lottery will cut the number of winners from 10 down to a lower number due to lower sales is another thing altogether.
The snip below is from the Raffle Prizes page. Looks like they only need to sell 1 ticket to award all prizes! Now that's a business plan!

Rising Gas Prices and the Lottery
Periodically I deliberately stop playing for a while. (Could be for a month or so) It really doesn't have so much to do with the economy as much as it does me. I intentionally do it so that I know that I'm in control and not the lottery. Right now, I stopped playing regularly a couple of weeks ago. Because Florida has a raffle going on right now, (ends July 2nd) I'll probably pick up a ticket in May, or maybe in June. We'll see. G5

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
232407 tickets sold as of 05/08, up 18219 from last Friday's sales update from Florida Lottery. At 69 days in, that averages 3368 sold per day. If sales proceed at this rate, it will be around 411000 total sold by the end of the raffle.
I may buy anther one before the next drawing...

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Bought a ticket yesterday...two clerks in the same store weren't familiar with the raffle! What's that all about? How does it work?
My ticket number was 144,5XX. I dunno... looks to me like The Florida Lottery has some work to do if they want to sell even a million tickets. G5

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
It is a very good thing from a players perspective. Where can players find lower odds to win a million dollars?
Remains to be seen if there will be a last minute rush to buy raffle tickets. (Hope not!) June 30 is when ticket sales end. Final drawing for 10 one million dollar top prize winners is July 2nd.
I have to believe the winning numbers will be generated by a computer. (RNG software). G5

Impact of "Free Money" on Lottery Spending
Just had a thought....
I really do hope I win a million bucks with one of those two extra raffle tickets I bought. That'd really twist some of those old fogies cajones real good if they knew I won a million using THEIR money.
Hell, they couldn't stand it when they saw me puttin' those 40 singles I took outta the pot and put 'em in my pocket. Just think how they'd feel if they heard I put a million bucks in my bank account by using their Left Right Center money. G5

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
I'll be getting fewer tickets going forward, because I definitely think that the best shot at winning something was in the first round. Before awareness spreads, and before the million dollar fever sets in.
I think that sales will increase as people come to find out about the raffle. Winning something meaningful enough (the prizes between 5k and 100k) won't be as easy . The million dollar draw odds aren't bad for a big sum, but it's still a shot in the dark. The tickets are pricey for still

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
I'm not sure if 415,000 tickets sold is a good thing or not.
it's good from the players standpoint of lower odds to win a million dollars, but whether or not the Florida Lottery will cut the number of winners from 10 down to a lower number due to lower sales is another thing altogether. I read the official rules but can't recall seeing anything about that.
If this raffle loses money I can't see them being in a big hurry to have more of them.
It must be a combination of things for the

Probability of winning with multiple tickets
Childish people throw around insults because they're insecure... like you, or a toddler struggling to learn social skills, or our current President. When adults act like toddlers, it means they need help.
In another thread, GiveFive realized I'm not old enough to know that they used to have manual raffle ticket drawings. I just figured it had to be RNG because of the volume.
GiveFive has told us his age. So has Coin Toss. Why don't you malign them for being old? And since when is being o
