What state uses what terminal?
Yes, thanks very much JS9. I really should be tracking this stuff, just like I'm tracking computerized drawings. If you're interested I could create some storage space and a page to keep track of various stuff like lottery ticket machine, vendor, drawing machine brand and model, as well as whatever else makes sense. (I think it makes sense to track everything by game, not just state.) I would rely on your info to fill in the blanks.

just a thought
If you hired 10,000 people and they stood in front of the ticket machine 24 hours a day and fed the tickets thru 1 per second how long would it take. 135,000,000 / 60 = 2,250,000 hours.2,250,000 hours / 24 = 93,750 days10,000 people / 93,750 days = 9.375 days.

Ontario Lottery launches a new type of instant ticket
The way that reads, it seems like there is a vulnerability introduced: If you can find out the winning numbers (since they were already drawn), hack a lotto ticket machine to print out a winning ticket. Also, if a player can immediately, after purchase, scan the ticket to see if it is a winner, it seems much like an instant draw game. I've never played an instant draw game because its a computer draw.

Standing in line next to the ticket machine at Publix to buy a few tickets I watched an old guy buy one $5 Monopoly - he scratched it right there and it was $1000 5X ...... he could hardly speak English - muttered something and showed me the ticket - told him I'll give you $100 cash money for the ticket ... he walked away... The Madness ticket below is not a claimer by any means - but $150 has the highest odds for winning ..... 1 in 1,712 ........ the $500 is 1 in 136 ....... G

California Scratch Offs
Hi Skeptic, its good to know there's good people out there, respecting elders . I'd take that kind of kindness you shown any day, so much hate in the world these days. You definetly deserve the top jackpot prize or the one below it, maybe they saving them for you by taking the smaller jackpots. I guess you got to live long too so when you get to there age that top prize hits*hopefully sooner though. Did you give up scratching for the day after the 2nd time? I'd probably go to some random pla

Saw something amazing yesterday
I had been reading about math teachers who use baited hook scratch cards to predict the winners from the losers, and win millions. However it takes an inside man, a cashier to let you sift through them to only buy the probable winners, so I never did it. It also takes some investment time and money to crack the codes of the cards of your state in the first place. Well I was in line yesterday to get a lotto ticket or ten, and a man with a 4 inch stack of a $10 game of the same scratch card hands

A 22-year-old restaurant manager is the winner of Wednesday's $18.7 million Powerball jackpot.Eric Kyle bought the $1 Powerball ticket on a whim at a Big Smoke store last Tuesday, and didn't realize he held the winner until he saw news reports on Thursday. I was instantly shaking, Kyle said during a news conference at Idaho Lottery headquarters Thursday afternoon. It's something I dreamed about for a long time. After waking his roommate to check the numbers, Kyle called lottery officials. Then

Does anyone collect scratch tickets?
Quote: Originally posted by DoctorEw220 on November 01, 2004 at my old work, we had a guy who would buy 3 books a week of Grand-A-Day Holiday tickets, looking for the final top prize. he never found it, but each book would have $185 in winners. I think that's the standard in PA.That's like trying to find a needle in a hay stack.Chasing tickets is not the way to win and some stores here in MA are supposed to pull a ticket and they don't, so a person could be chasing a ticket that is off the mar
