For those who complain about what states win
Would you feel comfortable buying jp ticks there?
If it was strictly about how many previous winners there were, sure. Winning is determined by the numbers on the ticket and not where it's bought.
The only sensible reasons to buy in a particular state are where you happen to be, and if you can be anonymous. If I happen to be passing through MD and the jackpot is above my threshold I'll play there since I could be anonymous if I were to win. That would mean paying MD income taxes, but as

MUSL employee arrested in Hot Lotto jackpot mystery
My original guess was that the winner wanted to remain completely anonymous -- like doesn't exist, off the grid anonymous. And was able to sell is ticket for $3-5M and disappear and then the buyers have been looking to claim it.
My second guess was that it was someone with back taxes, child support or a lottery employee who wanted to stay anonymous.
I don't think this guy had insider knowledge about the numbers. No conspiracy thoughts on my end. I think he just got lucky once. What's to s

How can I remain anonymous
Under the Texas Public Information Act, a winner's name, hometown, the amount of their prize, the date of the drawing, the date the prize is claimed, whether the ticket is a Quick Pick or Self Selection of numbers, a cash value option or 30-year annuity, and where the ticket was sold is generally considered public information.
How can I remain anonymous when I start winning jackpot(s)? I've heard where ppl start an LLC but unclear what to do

Who signs the back of the Mega ticket if you win and want to be anonymous?
I can't help but dream about winning the largest Mega ever, but yet I keep thinking it would be great, but I would want to remain anonymous! I have been searching the internet today and find that claiming the prize via blind trust would give you privacy, but who signs the ticket?
I have read many articles that say to sign your ticket to verify ownership, but by doing so, are you now not able to collect the jackpot using a blind trust?
I would appreciate anyone's thoughts on this!

What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
When you are unable to answer a question intelligently, I think it would be better to either ignore it, or simply say, I don't know. The last three posters here aren't very easily embarrassed, are they?
As for requirements of proof of the efficacy of lottery systems on an anonymous website, there are none. However, it remains anyone's right to warn people considering the purchase of lottery system software that they may be throwing their money away, and that THEY should demand proof! And sinc

New To Forum - Anonymous question - regarding your place of residence
Okay, I know in NY you can not remain anonymous and they will post your name and city where you are from.
My question is - What if you change your address on your drivers license to a PO BOX that is located in another town (don't you have to show two forms of ID when claiming). How will the lottery officals not accept this. I have a friend that has a PO Box on her license.
Also in NY, are you required to have your picture yaken/participate in the press conference.

The winners, who can remain anonymous
I was reading a story online, that Limerick in Ireland has become the lottery capital of Europe . Anonymity is an option and most winners choose it, when will US lotteries give people the same choice?
The winners, who can remain anonymous, will have to wait until Monday to claim their prize when the National Lottery office in Dublin reopens. Paula McEvoy of the National Lottery urged the winners to treat the ticket like cash. Sign the back of it and keep it in a safe place. There are 90

Judge rules Washington lottery winners can't be anonymous
That they hired an attorney demonstrates that they clearly knew ahead of time that the law didn't allow them to remain anonymous, so they were simply subjected to the rules they already knew were in place. They had plenty of options to remain anonymous anyway. They could have donated the ticket to charity or goiven it to a friend or relative who could have given them gifts later on. They obviously decided that they'd rather have the money even if it mean they couldn't be anonymous. They still ha

Which scenario would you prefer??
A group did something like that in Virginia a few years ago when the $27 million jackpot amount exceeded the 7 million possibilities in their 6/44 Lotto game. The group only had enough time to buy 5 million combinations but got lucky and had the winning combo covered. Even if the lotteries hadn't changed the rules to prevent a group from tying up terminals, the idea that somebody could obtain the 88 million play slips in Ohio (where they could form a trust and remain anonymous) and have enough t

Anyway... you think you are in the clear.. but wait... what is to the stop the guy at the gas station you bought the ticket from checking the tapes to find out that it is you! You are a regular there!
I just dont think anyone could stay anonymous for long!
