Lottery Etiquette (Mostly Scratch)
There was a guy at the vending machine getting a scratch ticket, quickly rubbing off the bar code, scanning, and if it was a winner, scanning again to add to his balance in the machine. I think your $20 tickets are better than ours. I have already gone 6-7 in a row and lost. Then to get the next one to win $20. My thought process changed. Any casino/slot machine can hit at any time. You got that right Charmed...yesterday I bought $12 worth of p3 tickets and the machine said I owed that I paid it but then counted them and only had $11.50 worth, so I told the clerk and she said sorry that's what the machine said and I cleared it out before I ran them...well I just happened to look over at the machine and there was my extra ticket still at the top of the machine. Hi from Maryland. The store where I usually get my lottery recently had one of these machines installed. The guys installing the machine said that this store was only the third one in Maryland to have one installed. It's a good idea, but rather slow and can freeze up on you. Tonight, one of the regular customers, actully had a ticket get stuck in the machine. I thought he was going to knock the machine over and jump on it to get his ticket. Good luck!

Also, the machine prints a slip which they must staple to the ticket and keep for their records. HERE IS STH Australia THE LOTTO machine can print out syndicate entries, how they work is the individual ticket is a bearer claim form for that share. um let me try n explain better. say there are 10 people in the syndicate, and the cost is $200 for the entry. the machine will print 10 shared tickets, they each have 1 10th of the prize assigned to them, and cost $20 ea. no need for legal battles, you get yas ticket dont lose it!
