Lottery Marketing
I've played long enough to not be influenced by marketing, however I see more marketing here on mega millions when the jackpots are at there lowest point, cause once they climb over 100 million the media takes over.

7-7-7 was a lucky day!!
Before MegaMillions came to Ohio, I would travel just over the boarder to Indiana to buy PowerBall and to Michigan to buy BigGame tickets when their jackpots were $100M+. There was always a line of out of state players waiting to buy tickets so the stores would print extra QPs when ever they had a chance and they alway sold them all.

After a big multi-million win how long would you wait to come forward?
It always fascinates me to see how long some of the really big winners take to come forward to claim their big jackpots. So I'm just curious of my fellow members here, how long would you take to come forward and why? Please explain.

I Have No Problem Paying Federal Taxes If I Win The Jackpot.
Almost every country in the world has tax-free lottery jackpots. Japan, Europe, Canada, etc. Only the US with our idiot congress doesn't have this.

How Long Will It Be Until We Have A Lotto Billionaire ?
btw Aston I would like to see you win enough where you could live your dreams out as well. I would like to see everyone do that.
Thing is that I just wish people could be realistic at how much their dreams will cost. I wish for people who do win huge jackpots or small jackpots that their families, friends, and the world would be realistic at the amount those winners won. Realistic about how far exactly that money will go.
Some are sure but there are so many cases where people win even sm

does age play a factor when winning the jackpot?
With jackpots in the $5 - $10 Million range, people in their 40s or 50s are much more vulnerable if they quit their jobs, overspend, and have no income in 5 or 6 years. Just finding a good paying job might be difficult and they can forget about finding a job that where they could still enjoy the same lifestyle.

They're growing!
It looks like the Mega Millions and Powerball are FINALLY getting a bit bigger again. Lately it seems like they only become Mega jackpots twice a year. Let's all hope they make the summer exciting. How big do you think they're gonna get this time?

Pa. Lottery players dig Treasure Hunt game
I don't play it much because it is not life-changing money. I prefer the mid-range jackpots, anything from $500,000 up AFTER taxes. I wish it would build up more, but then I am sure 3 or more players would win.

Retired Ontario couple wins second lottery jackpot
That must be awesome to win two jackpots in an eight year span. They hit with a QP and their own numbers. Not many players can say that. Congrats!-weshar75
