Well I saw something very stupid today. I was inline to pay for gas at BP and someone was buying $300 worth of powerball tickets. I hope they took a pool or something because that's just too much in my opinion for one person.

i live in Mass, and things like this where store owners or clerks doing bad things happens every year or so. jail time for these people, i have a guy in a store where i go tell me that he would play our mega million tickets and i can pick them up in the next morning. I don't think so, he has said this when the machine was down, and he said he would play them later. I mean a 100 dollars for my pool. again no way.

Stay right here in sunny Escondido, San Diego County, CA, where it is nice and warm all year round. Would upgrade our home, and refurbish our swimming pool. We have nice neighbors, so why leave. Life is good. John in sunny and very warm Escondido, California

You never know. The jackpot could make it to $340 million this run (if it does it probably won't go any higher because of the match 5 bonus pool). We just need it to roll six or seven more times.

That's a really good point about the states saving money. They must have been hating life after seeing all those 5+0 winners! I don't think they mind as much seeing a jackpot winner, because that comes out of the shared jackpot pool, rather than out of the individual state funds.
