U.K. Lottery operator wants to create global super-lottery
Higher Payouts= Higher Interest= Higher Jackpots= Higher Revenues for all parties involved. Again Europe is ahead of the curve, while the US's idea to increase revenue is to give us worse games with name changes that are defunct after a year. The US should also start NOT taxing lottery winnings.

best overall lottery
I checked Other because it's the one that I win. Since I began buying lottery tickets, I've lived in MA, NH and traveled through other states, but I really just pay attention to the jackpots and the winning numbers. I wouldn't care if a game had plain white tickets, crappy advertising or had the most unattractive people on Earth draw the numbers if I won a million dollars. I just care about the odds and that the game is honest fair.

Do you wait for the PowerBall to get to a certain amount?
I wait till PB gets above 80 mill. before i buy my tix. Yes, i can live off the smaller jackpots should i ever be so fortunate to hit one, but i prefer to save my money till it reaches a higher level. I play a fair amount of Bingo also with pretty good results i would rather spend some of my fun money against those much better odds at Bingo for a decent $$ prize than chasing the PB 2 times a week essentially losing more than i win on it.

Do you wait for the PowerBall to get to a certain amount?
Since PowerBall is played in neighboring states, I wait until its jackpots is $200M before making a trip out of state to buy tickets, I can play to win a MegaMillions $15M jackpot locally.

$254 million Missouri Powerball winners on TV
That's probably true, I remembered years ago when the PowerBall and BigGame jackpots were $150M+ TV stations in Columbus would send news teams to Indiana and Michigan to do stories about the buying frenzies and now they don't even do a story when the local MM jackpot is $200M. Maybe these lotteries should start making their own news stories and giving them to the the TV stations to run. I hear other group that want their stories in the news are doing that.

Spinoff: What do you think PowerBall will run next?
Not only was Powerball hit at the opening level, but there were also three $1 million PowerPlay winners!! Powerball's nonguaranteed cash jackpots are definitely going to be less than the allocated 30.28855% of sales for quite a long time at this rate.

How high will MM go this run?
I didn't see this post, but I actually predicted to a friend that it would be won again the following draw, and sure enough it was. I have seen that happen multiple times before after record jackpots. I think some people just keep playing and don't know it was won already.

What software do you use and why..
When the lottos first started they always interviewed the jackpot winners and asked how they picked the numbers. Today the only information you get is where the ticket was sold. I've always thought 70% of all ticket sales are - quick-picks is low especially when the jackpots are high.

Ohio's Classic Lotto 6/49 starts today
i guess we got spoiled on the original 6/49 game. 4 million dollar starting jackpots with a guaranteed million rollover. Atleast this new game will be much better than Lot o' Play. Good luck to both of you.

P-5 All States Test
If Bud sticks with it, his chance with come. Pick5 jackpots are getting bigger all the time and they are easier to win than the jackpot games. For example Ohio Rolling Cash5 (5/39) jackpot is $876,000 and could roll to over a million dollars if there are no winners tonight and the odds of winning it is less than 1:600K. Bud just have to play for real and come up with the right numbers on the right day in the right state.
