RJoh: The purpose of Lotto South is to allow players to try for larger jackpots than in the three separate lotto games, but without the 1 in 75+ million jackpot odds for the Big Game. Single-state jackpot games are losing favor (with a few exceptions.) The new lottery director in Michigan is being urged to replace Michigan Millions with a proposed multi-state game.

Kentucky has the Powerball now. There would be no point in having a new game that competes with it. I suspect Lotto South will have better odds and smaller jackpots most of the times, and Ohio will update its games if neccesary to compete.RJOh

key number issuesReply
It seems to me if you key on 44 numbers out of 49 or 50 numbers,you are using 85% of possible numbers therefore you can expect to have 85% of the 5 of 6 numbers picked somewhere in the combinations but not in the same combination or am I'm missing somthing here. If you noticed the numbers I posted for this week picks, I keyed on all 50 numbers, I will have all 5 numbers picked some where in the 10 combinations I posted, but the chances of 4 of the numbers being in the same combination are 1:942.

Biggamelottery.com had a piece about the Colorado Powerball story and earlier about the big winners in the Ohio lottery. The night of the big drawing in Ohio, I got the results here before I could get them off the Ohiolottery web site. I've noticed that if it a big story or a big jackpot no matter which lottery, there a story about it here.RJOh

Hi Rjoh,Yes I am from Northeastern Ohio.I do`nt play the kicker game either, it`s a waste of money and I only play the Super Lotto when the Jackpot is $20 million or more!Thank you for your info on When putting the past winning numbers on a card, I found that most combination included at least 3 numbers between 19 and 45.
