I normally buy 4 to 6 draws of PB and/or MM at a time.
I usually only get that wild when MegaMillion jackpot gets over $80M and Ohio RC5's gets over $300K and one drawing at a time. Both games jackpots fit that profile right now.

Mass. Lottery bets it can draw richer players
The term that needs to be defined is the description of the customers the lottery is trying to attract, wealthy/upper income. Now we all have an opinion on what constitutes a high income/wealthy person. My guess is that the lottery is looking to increase play in those individuals with a household income of over $100,000. There are a large number of people in this income bracket that don't spend their time playing baccarat and high stakes poker. They are just trying to make ends meet, lik

Ohio Lottery to ditch Lot 'O Play game over lack of interest
The problem with the Ohio Lottery is that it is monopolistic. Their true effort is to reduce the jackpots and increase the profitability. People who win want to be millionaires not thousandaires. I doubt they will listen to this although I have written them before.

which is best--powerball or mega millions
Powerball is 5 minutes away or less and Mega Millions is 2 hours and 15 minutes one way. I do play both but Powerball is more convenient. So I play it more and hopefully I will win one of the jackpots.-weshar75

Ohio is bringing in the Classic Lotto and getting rid of Lot O Play!!
Ohio has made stupid lottery decisions before and had to reversed them. The worst was years ago when they put a $20M limit on the amount of annuity one lottery ticket could win. At the time people in neighboring states also played Ohio SuperLotto and jackpots got as high $70M but after that they stopped coming to Ohio to play and the jackpot amounts declined that decision was reversed about 8 months later.

What is up with MM/PB
Yes, that's based on cash value. I may have confused things with the comment about jackpots from 12 to 300 million, since those amounts reflect advertised annuity values.

Some people think $20 is too much for lottery ticket
How is that different than losing $35 in a week or $500 in a year? If $20 for a 1 in 125,000 chance of winning a bad deal what about $1 for a 1 in 175 million chance? If you balance risk and reward its no different than buying $20 worth of MM tickets for jackpots of $50 million.

What is up with MM/PB
It's strange that both MM and PB won consecutive jackpots within a three day period. PB won their jackpot on Wednesday while MM won their jackpot on Friday.

What is up with MM/PB
No, players are just getting luckier. If nobody thought they could win jackpots under $100 million, the lotteries would go out of business. After all, do you play to win, or to raise the jackpot?
