Ok, so I didn't win the $96 million, but the good news is that no one won. Now the fun begins - it's Saturday morning and I've already been deludged with calls and emails from co-workers and friends wanting to know if I will run a special pool. Well, I can't resist. There is something cool about having hundreds of tickets to check, even if I only own a portion of the proceeds.

Chief,Thought I would try the last 15 draws again using a similar profile logic that I use with MM last night , but that creates a pool of 39 numbers. Playing each number 6 time creates 39 lines so I may just play the first few lines since most of the times that I get a hit, it usually occurs in the first 10 lines. Thanks TODD for your addition of WHEELS. Even though I am not into wheels and do not really understand them, I have today learned a lot in your presentation.Now that I think that I know a little about wheels, I have selected 10 numbers from my overall pool of 37 and wheeled them into 7 tickets and will test them in the Friday Mega Millions drawing.Will post the results on Saturday.Thanks again for a job very well done.

Lottery Pools
If you pool your money with your friends, and you win, how do you claim the prize? In MA you can only have person claim the ticket, but I guess this could be a trust or something. But the W-2G you get you have to sign saying that you're the only person entitled to the winnings. Anyone know?

It would be worse because they would raise ticket prices, raise the numbers pool and make less winners. But if they could create a 400+ million jackpot I would probably play. But I wouldn't play all the time since my state hasn't won a grand prize in awhile. My chances of actually winning the jackpot are very unrealistic. At least now when powerball goes back to its minimum I can track mega millions.
