The 5-ball game in Virginia permits 25- and 50-cent plays as well as the 1-dollar so long as you buy tickets in whole dollar amounts. Georgia Fantasy 5 changing again
Hi Everyone,I just learned today that the Georgia Lottery Corporation is changing the payout of the Fantasy 5 game effective August 7, 2005. Right now if you hit 3 of 5 you normally win between $7.00 to $12.00. The average payout for a 3 of 5 win will now be around $20.00. Playing a mere $1 for a $46 million 6/59 game doesn't make sense to me. NY Lotto players should start pulling out the stops until it's hit.I agree with JS9 about the prize percentage problem: it is the legislature. The $2 is going to be distributed the same way the $1 dollar in powerball is being distributed today. They are not changing the percentage received by the states, they are only increasing the price per play. I'm from Maryland and i agree this is kinda ridiculous. Buddy Roogow is the head honcho of megamillion. My guess is that he must have been pressured into this by the majority of other lottery directors. It wasn't that long ago that they said they were satisfied with the game and that no changes were forthcoming.
