TN LOTTERY-hot lotto or lotto south?
The 5-ball game in Virginia permits 25- and 50-cent plays as well as the 1-dollar so long as you buy tickets in whole dollar amounts. It's more conducive to using wheels.I'm not in favor of lengthening the odds (changing the wheel) on Lotto South and Hot Lotto. Maybe what they need to do is to change the lotto ticket to allow for players to mark whether they're playing for the jackpot only or the secondary prizes plus the jackpot. I would bet that if they did this, they could increase the sec

Georgia Fantasy 5 changing again
Hi Everyone,I just learned today that the Georgia Lottery Corporation is changing the payout of the Fantasy 5 game effective August 7, 2005. Right now if you hit 3 of 5 you normally win between $7.00 to $12.00. The average payout for a 3 of 5 win will now be around $20.00. Currently if you hit 4 of 5 you could expect to win $65.00 to $150.00. Starting this Sunday you can expect to receive around $400.00 or more.Great news for Georgia Lottery Players. Thanks,John - LA

Connecticut Gov. considers dumping Powerball
The folks that run Powerball are changing the way they pay off jackpots for winners choosing a 30-year-annuity.The estimated average jackpot under the new rules will be $84.1 million. If it was paid off in equal amounts, as it is now, winners would get $2.8 million a year, before taxes.Starting Aug. 31, payments will be backloaded, meaning winners will get far less in the early years. The winner of an $84.1 million jackpot will get $1.72 million in year one.The winner won't reach $2.8 million un

NY Lottery... look in here
Playing a mere $1 for a $46 million 6/59 game doesn't make sense to me. NY Lotto players should start pulling out the stops until it's hit.I agree with JS9 about the prize percentage problem: it is the legislature. However, the NY Lottery, being a political organization of sorts, could lobby strongly to increase the prize pool, and I don't get the feeling that they do. From the customer service responses I've seen, they bend over backwards to justify their situation, rather than to sympathize

Sign the petition - eliminate computerized drawings!
That's the first time I've heard that one.I don't agree that there is anything malicious or suspicious (sorry for the rhyme) about changing the matrix. They just want to create larger jackpots, while keeping the game so that people still feel like they will win something. The reason for fewer Mega Balls is so that people will win lower-tier prizes. It's that simple.I'm not saying that I agree or disagree with their decision, but I don't question the integrity of the decision. They did what the

the blue game
I dont think its greed. Certain people would continue to spend the same amout of money as they do today. The $2 is going to be distributed the same way the $1 dollar in powerball is being distributed today. They are not changing the percentage received by the states, they are only increasing the price per play. When I took the survey, I did point out that the $2 per play is the only negative aspect of the blue game . I've gotten so used to paying $1 per play that it would be hard for me to

Vtracs in VersaBet
Hey Badger,Basically, I look for one that is closest to the most out . I change the Sums Sort Options to Hits-Descending Order . After changing your screen look at the top 5 sums. I never use anything below the top 5 sums. The one with the highest Current Skips closest to the Most Out gets my attention. I forgot to mention, I use 365 drawings unless something changes in the game, like computerized drawings. Didn't WI just change to computerized drawings? I wouldn't use any info before th

Mega Millions changing June 24 -official
I'm from Maryland and i agree this is kinda ridiculous. Buddy Roogow is the head honcho of megamillion. My guess is that he must have been pressured into this by the majority of other lottery directors. It wasn't that long ago that they said they were satisfied with the game and that no changes were forthcoming. But as soon as they said powerball was changing and California was joining megamilions they sought compete with powerball. I'm not happy about the change but people aren't going to stop

...Why "Lottery Systems" Don't Work
Quote: Originally posted by LANTERN on March 18, 2005 As the game and statistics are changed, change you methods and the statistics that you use, or something like that. I could not agree more with you here. The numbers are going to do a little changing.. Have a back plan to the system and play that until the system is back on track.Diffferent system works for different people. Laverne is making a killing on her double finding method.. I am doing fairly ok with mine.. Mine is keeping me playi

To Post or not to Post

I often notice when people start a thread about a system that is working in some state that after a few days it seems to taper off. Now wether that is because lottery personal m
