Illinois Lottery may privatize lottery to solve budget woes
There'll never be a term limit in Chicago. Too many people on the dole, payroll or entitlement system. They all vote religiously. That keeps corruption empowered. Same thing Obama is trying to do. Chicago is a lost cause - let's hope we can save the country.

New Jersey: 3/1 - 3/31/2010
Thanks Calabs.I didn't understand it was that bad in New Jersey. Is the New Jersey state Govt. so hard up for money that they would create a corrupt scheme such as this and not expect the populace to take notice? I would not play pick 3 or pick 4 if I lived in your state...this is yet another form of Govt.corruption as far as I'm concerned..

Michigan Daily games appear to be rigged
It happened........your only proof of why you say it didn't happen is that you don't believe me.......you say I'm lying......or you can't get your mind around it. Wow what great research. I personally talked to the clerk that sold the tickets. The very first thing I do when I get these type of info is to see if in fact 400 tickets were sold that day.......well over 900 were sold that day. FYI the normal number of winning straight up tickets for most days is about 6 to 10. As far as the IRS of co

North Carolina: 2/1 - 2/28/2010
Ya know I'm growing tired of NCEL's BS.....why do we have pre-draws in the first place? The fact that they have pre-draws suggests corruption as far as I'm concerned because it gives them the opportunity to put out the combination that pays the less amount of money... I may quit playing pick 3 all together...

This is just another form of Govt. corruption as far as I'm concerned...I mean why should any number be locked out and why should there be several pre-draws? I mean helll NCEL's already has the game hijacked with the low payout and the odds in thier favor... The odds in pick 3 are waaaaay worse than roulette at vegas and they want more of a house edge? This is turning into BS!

Iowa lottery offering bonus holiday drawing
TN already has the same thing where you can register losing scratchers for a 2nd chance drawing. Though I rarely play scratchers I find that I have the same luck on 2nd chance drawings as I do on the original scratchers - none. I think it's a good idea for Iowa or any other state to do it though. The one bad aspect with TN though is you don't have to show a ticket for the 2nd chance drawing if you win. I think that unnecessarily leaves a window open for possible corruption. I don't like th

Are lotteries part of the solution to the crisis in states' budgets?
I will agree with you to a point on this Todd. The government involvement in every aspect of our lives is a large part of what's going wrong in America. The government should be for the people and by the people....not for the governement. In effect, what you have done is proved four4me's point. The simple answer on how to make state and federal defecits disappear is as simple as four4me said. However, due to government involvement and mismanagement of everything they underatake (not to mention c

From Riches To Rags
Now the goverment should create a new form of anti-trust laws to break down big corporations. These big boogies only hoard in money and keep cutting jobs. All they want are buyers; they can create tons of robots to produce merchandise and sell to the average men. Break them down, so we can create more small businesses; then more people will have jobs. The current economy is the consequence of corruption in high executive levels and extremely efficient use to technology in production (rob

Lottery Post member subject of new motion picture
You surprise me, Floyd. By your account, the fact that Liggett tried to run me off the road is entirely insignificant and shouldn't have raised my suspicions. That I was already half-way out of my vehicle when he collided with me is, apparently, a routine event in rear-end collisions, and should not have caused me to believe he hit me intentionally and may have meant to cause me harm. I've had extensive firearms training in long arms and small arms alike, both as a civilian and during
