Ok. I stand corrected. Thank you for mentioning this. I wonder if more people are waiting for the jackpot to reach $1 Billion especially with the price increase. I don't play Mega Millions anymore because of the price increase to $5. Honestly, I consistently play Powerball these days, because I fear that Powerball will eventually raise their ticket prices to $5.

i think it is more like there are many people here who had a game that was taken away from them, and they gather here to ponder if it might ever be returned back to them. I am not a member of the never crowd. I buy a Power Ball ticket consistently when the jackpot reaches $250 million and above. And I will buy a Mega Millions ticket consistently after the jackpot goes above $2 billion. $2 billion not in, but $2,001,000,000+ I will be in.

What $5 jackpot draw game would you play?Reply
I would play one that was a decent mix of a scratch off and mega millions in terms of odds. Decent chance at a $10, $50, $100 prizes and then maybe a $1 million prize and the jackpot. I dont mind the $5 price tag but having almost zero chance of winning your money back is really disheartening at that price tag. If it was like 1 in 9 or better I would consider it a lot more.

This is a non starter. 1st Problem: Computer simulation with no ball drop. 2nd Problem: Top prize isn't nearly enough for a $ 5 line. 3rd problem: Daily Draws - 2-3 times a week is max. You would think that after seeing the huge drop off in sales for Mega Millions they would rethink their 5.00 a ticket plan for a paltry prize of a million dollars a year. No one is going to want that. Most players are older than 45 so all they can win is 30 million or so for 5.00 a line. No thanks.
