Statistically Speaking - QP's and PP's
One day, I might have the time or desire to study the bigger games...right now, a quick pick here and there will do just fine. Spend a buck to buy a hope and a dream? Maybe but probably not. The most I do at a time is $20 but it has to be up there....$$$$$$$. I would rather sink the bigger bets into pick 3 and pick 4. Why do I buy a quick pick once in awhile? To take a shot at it. We all know qp's win. It could happen to anyone that plays so why not? Are quick picks cheesy? Probably. Ar

Top 10 "Reasons" why the Powerball Lottery is a scam...!
Reason 1.) The odds are 1 in 195,249,054 Where can I find any game of chance where the odds are in the players favor? Do you really expect any gambling house to hand players millions of dollars every time they bet a dollar? When the jackpot exceeds the game odds like it did on Wednesday, isn't that a good bet? Reason 3.) Its flat out deceit to make the claim that the lotto commissions pays out vast sums of money to winners when most of the winners take thier money and re-play the ver

Pretend one or both of the sitiuations is happening to you
It is only possible to make systems that guarantee multiple lower tier prizes. It is not considered useful to make a system that guarantees multiple jackpots because all 5 or 6 number combinations would have to be repeated as many times as you wanted the jackpot won and of course they would simply become shares in the single jackpot amount. Doesn't help if you are the only winner, provides a larger share if there are multiple winners besides you. Useful multiple jackpots can come up

Lottery winner almost out of cash three years later
For fun, Keith Bryce and his wife, Elizabeth, play bingo on Tuesdays at a Knights of Columbus Hall, or watch movies on a mattress in the living room. It's a long way from the craps tables, flashing lights and plush presidential suites at the swank Las Vegas hotels of their honeymoon. Since Bryce won the Mega Millions lottery three years ago, he has clashed with family, spent close to $3 million and isn't far from the poorhouse a place he assumed he'd never visit again. In the first 30 d

Ex-boyfriend charged with killing $5M lottery winner
The world, or at least a small corner of it, was hers a year ago. Doris Murray, mother of four, had won $5 million in the Georgia Lottery on her 41st birthday. She posed for a photograph with big ceremonial check at the Amba Food Store in East Dublin, where she had bought her winning lottery ticket. And, according to a press release from the Georgia Lottery Corp., she declared This is the best birthday ever. On Monday, Murray was found dead in the same modest block home she had lived in on

What is your preferred method for choosing numbers?
My current system has a Microsoft Excel component (Backtesting, Picking the next number) and a Visual Basic 6 component (Automating the workout I used to do manually... from weeks/months to under 10 minutes...) I call it LRS, for Latent Repeating Sequences. It's really quite simple... The Latent part is a variable that contains how many draws back in history you go to get that position's number. The Repeating part is the one setting for Latency that has matched the most number of times

Where do you guys come up with the 35% Federal Tax rate
I am under the impression that if somone won a large amount of money, the tax rate would be 25% - 28% for federal taxes. I am basing this info from the info from the irs website. Why does people on the board reference the rate at 35%? I am aware that they take 25% off the top but where does the additional 10% come from? This is my first post so I hope I didn't break any rules. From the IRS site 2. Sweepstakes, Wagering Pools, and Lotteries File Form W-2G for each person to
